Great for hmmwv’s
Worked great on my HMMWV soft door zippers. Made it a lot easier to move the zipper!

fast fix for a stuck zipper.
I live in the interior of Alaska where parkas and insulated coveralls are the norm. Sticky zippers on frozen clothing causes zippers to break or get stuck and is a big problem here. Wax works, but this is faster and simpler.

Nice application bottle, but no more effective than lower cost options
I like the dispensing method for this zipper lubricant. The bottle has bristles on the top that are effective for cleaning. Once clean, you pull up the spout and it dispenses the lubricant through the bristles, making it easy to apply. While it does work in terms of making the zipper move easier, it's no more effective (and even a bit worse) than other options that cost a lot less. My go-to has, and will continue to be, the WD-40 Dry Lube. It works great and a treatment lasts longer than this lubricant. While I like the dispensing method, performance is just average (3 stars).

Great stuff
I pulled my backpacking pack out of storage a couple weeks ago and was dismayed to find that I had accidentally left electrolyte drops in my pack a couple months ago and naturally they leaked all over my pack. After a thorough washing to get the dried salt off I discovered one of the main zippers was all gunked up, the pull looked corroded and my attempts to clean the pull and zipper weren't terribly successful at loosening them up. Someone saw me struggling with it while on my recent trip so I figured I'd give it a go. Thank you kind stranger! I used the cleaning brush and applied the solution a few hours ago and then left it to dry. My pulls are still a bit green but the zipper works smoothly now. I already keep Tenacious Tape and patches in all my tent bags, this is another one of Gear Aid's products I'll be keeping on hand.
