Review of Jannatul Firdaus Attar by Ajmal
The packaging of Jannatul Firdaus by Ajmal is impressive. It comes well-sealed, ensuring authenticity and freshness. The bottle itself is beautifully designed, adding a touch of elegance to the overall presentation. It feels premium and makes for a great addition to any attar collection.I’ll update my review after using it for a while to share more about the fragrance and its longevity. So far, the first impression is quite promising!

One of the best jannatul firdaus formulations
I have used jannatul firdaus from various brands, like swiss arabian, nemat, jannet el baqui, some Dubai brands, etc., as well, I have to say this version is one of the best blends. If you are into attars, especially the Indian classics, you cannot miss this one.Of course this is a very familiar smell to our Indian noses as many indian products added similar formulation of perfumes to scent their products. Unfortunately most of us Indians have a tendency to throw away what is ours even if it is good just to persue some western dilute stuff. Yes this will smell reminiscent to ratnamala agarbatti, or nycil powder, or some shampoo to some, but is it a bad fragrance? No. Just because you associate something with consumer products does not make it automatically bad.If you are fragrance lover, especially an attar lover, you need to have this.

I didnt like it
I was hesitant to buy after reading reviews, saying it smells like amla. But still I though to give it a try and I must say they were right. It smells more like amla after some time smell will be different but thats a soft note which you have to smell youself it wont come to you. I also noticed that it smells just for few mins itself, You can smell it after few hours as well but for that you need to take your nose close to that point. Lot of people find it amazing may be because they could smell lower or later notes. So if you are not a perfume guru (like me) or dont have sensitive nose its not for you.I am not saying this is bad product, I would say its not suitable for everyone. I have small collection of attars (excluding empty bottles), I have 2 attars which costs 40rs each in local market near me (havoc and open) I find them much much better than this one. I also have bakhoor, kasturi (price little less or same as this one), mogra (150rs) and gulab (40rs) they also smell better than this one.Note: 2 days back only i found local shop owner selling it for 40rs, quantity was less but smell was exactly same.

Loved the smell.
Yes, it does smell a bit like talcum-powder - but I still love it.
