Well, research shows these claims are patently false and that food-grade carrageenan is completely safe, even at levels far higher than what's normally found in our diets.Many of the people that claim otherwise are confused by (or unaware of) the fact that there are two types of carrageenan: undegraded carrageenan, which is what's used in food, and degraded carrageenan, which is used in medical imaging.While undegraded carrageenan is safe to eat, degraded carrageenan isn't because of how it's processed. Good question and sorry about the inconvenience! We were out of stock of Triton for awhile which messed it up, because Amazon wants products on subscribe & save to be in stock at all times. Since it's been around 5 months since we were out of stock, hopefully it will be eligible soon. :)

Q: Why are some people saying in the reviews that there are issues with fish burps and smell?

Fish burps affect some people on any fish oil supplement. I don’t get the fish burps. Also haven’t noticed a smell. It’s a great product .

Poor quality given the price.

At least 4 of the tablets were split and had leaked in the bottle so all oily and stunk of fish. Binned the whole lot. Luckily Amazon refunded me.
