They work as advertised
Works very well. Maybe for me a little too well. They keep my teeth in. So we'll they don't like to come out (haha)I do need to trim them up a tad to use em. But they keep em in all day and actually help a tad with comfort.

They work
So it took a little getting use to and figuring them out to work correctly.I , 51 female have upper dentures do to an accident when I was a kid. Suffered many years trying to keep my teeth but lost the battle. My denture fit at first but over time needed adjusting. However the one person I went to shaved off way too much and I was in a lot of pain and they didn’t stay in.I had an assistant show me the best way to apply poligrip and that worked. However I felt my dentures were still causing a lot of pain and pushing up on the roof of my mouth so badly I couldn’t keep them in.So I started trying this product.Instantly the pain went away and they stayed in. However they did not work well when I wanted to eat. And sometime they were loose and didn’t hold well.I was trimming them down to, what I thought, was fitting my mouth better. The directions say, do not over saturate,,, well how the hell do you do that when you need to wet them!!!Over time I have learned,,, I do not need to trim the sides only the length. The flat part that goes to the back of the mouth.I leaned to dry the dentures very well before placing the pink side down onto the denture. The pink side is went the top side just damp. I run a very small stream of water and wet the pink side. I make sure the side of the pad go up the inside of the denture. Some times I have to push the pad down or up or back what ever. To make it fit where I want it. Make sure there are no bubble. There is play time to adjust. The front part dose over lap sometimes depends on if I am in a rush but it doesn’t make a difference if it does or doesn’t.Once I put them in a clap my jaw down for a bit.The wear time is not super long..Sometimes I can where them all day and over night but mostly I change them after I eat. If I have had them in for a while when I eat, the pad slide and I feel the pad going past the denture into the back of my mouth. Or food getting stuck up in there. So I try to change them at least once a day sometimes twice.BUT I would much rather deal with this that trying to scrap poligrip out of the denture and out of my mouth. I find that disgusting!!I use poligrip in the event that I might be going out with friends for a long eveningBut I have started putting a pre cut pad in my purse so I can alway run to a bathroom and change it. Super easy!!Worth trying if you don’t like the gunk in your mouth like me!

Poor hold - Too much work
The idea is to trim one of these and then use that as a pattern to trim the rest. The process presupposes, first, that it is easy to trim one around the irregular frame of the denture. That is not the case. Second, that one can use the first as a pattern, which is based on the theory that you can stack these things up with perfect alignment. Preposterous. Then you must contend with the wet insert, which slides around; making it nearly impossible to properly seat the adhesive.Once you have gone through all of that, the hold is mediocre at best.

This product is AMAZING!
I see some scattered negative reviews here and can only assume they are from the "pink goo" product in competition with Sea Bond!First, that pink stuff, that ooozzzze's out the back of that upper denture, triggering my gag reflex almost every time, will no longer be a part of my morning routine!Second, IF you are looking for a produce that requires NO EFFORT on your part, to make sure you get the most benefit from it, then go ahead and keep using that pink stuff.Yes, it takes a little effort, but man, once you get it figured out, NOTHING can COMPARE with this one! I am still using the "immediate" denture that was placed after full upper extractions about 6 months ago. As you can imagine, it is NOT a perfect fit at this point, heck, it wasn't a perfect fit the day it got put in!The dentist provided me with a "cushion liner" about 4 months ago, at a cost of about $600! It lasted about 2 months, and started "peeling" loose, I took the time to tediously remove that liner, and tried that pink stuff... unhappily I must say!So I'm looking at ANY other options, all seemed to be squeeze tubes... I knelt down so I could see the very bottom shelf, and there it was... SEA BOND... the first thing I noticed was the line that said "no ooze like pastes" That first box of uppers went home with me, and as long as I need help with an upper denture, this is the ONLY product I will use!NOW, it does take some effort, a few times of figuring out how to "trim" the wafer for a GOOD fit, but once you get it figured out, you can easily, quickly trim it from "memory" after that. I actually trim all 30 of the as soon as I open the box and am set for the full 30 days. I put it in at the start of my day, usually about 3am... and it doesn't come out til bedtime. I eat, I drink, I chew, I talk, I sing, heck, I can even yawn, and this thing won't move... it takes a "tug" at the end of the day to break it loose. The genius that invented this product somehow, created an adhesive that when moistened, turns into a "gel" that not only locks it in place, but also cushion's the feel of the denture.I am not a fan of the mint flavor, just a personal preference, it's not bad, I just like the tasteless original better. If you need a product of this category, and don't mind a little effort at the beginning of use, GET SEA BOND!! I have never given ANY PRODUCT this level of OUTSTANDING REVIEW!!THANK YOU SEA BOND!!

Hold well. Easy cleanup.
Hold upper well-fitting dentures well. Easy to clean from dentures and do not leave a lot of residue in mouth like adhesives do.
