Pitaka for iPhone 16 Pro Max Compatible with MagSafe, Thin & Light Case with a Caseless Feel, 1500D Aramid Fiber Woven [Tactile Woven Case-Moonrise]

I’ve had this case on my new iPhone for about 6 months. It has provided very good protection (few drops on tile and wood floors without issue) while still being much slimmer than other cases I’ve used in the past. It still works well with wireless chargers. The thin profile around the bezel of the phone allows for completely uninstructed and clear view of the screen. It was easy to install and has held up well.

There was a quality issue with the first item, but I am a Pitaka fan and have had several of their cases in the past for both Samsung and Apple phones and the quality has always matched the price. I contacted Pitaka support with photos of the case with quality issues. I must say, I was SUPER-SUPER impressed, this was easily one of the Top 5 best customer service experiences I've EVER had, the kind of customer service that used to be the norm 20+ yrs ago.The replacement product that Pitaka IMMEDIATELY rushed out was PERFECT after taking out of the box and closely inspecting, just like the Pitaka products I've come love! Can't get much better than a company that stands behind the quality of their products.

I had this case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max and I liked the case but the magnet wasn't very strong. I ordered this case for the iPhone 16 Pro Max and I am pleased to say that that they made improvements to the magnet and it stays on the charger much better now. This is a good case.

Bought the Milky Way case. Amazon fulfillment sent me a used case with a chunk missing from a corner, and it was missing paperwork I have seen from reviews. It was so obvious it had been purchased by someone and returned.I was NOT happy and contacted Pitika directly to let them know I had received either a used case or their quality control was not very effective. The media could not be loaded. I use Pitaka’s Slider 2 product at home. When I purchased the iPhone 16 Pro Max, I was searching for a product that would pair well with this Slider charger, and no matter how much I thought about it, there was no better match than Pitaka. So, even before the iPhone arrived at my home, I purchased this case, and given my years of experience with Pitaka products, this case was impressive enough to surprise me. In conclusion, I am very satisfied with this purchase.Ultra Slim & Thin The website advertises the weight as 17.95g, and the thickness is 0.88mm, maintaining a profile under 1mm. This case uses 1500D carbon, providing enough protection for the iPhone. It’s light and slim, so even with the case on, there’s practically no difference from using the phone without a case.Magnetic Film The back of the case is designed to minimize thickness and avoid interference with signals like Bluetooth. I’m certain Pitaka considered such details, as the Magnetic Film used on the back is extremely thin, yet the magnetic force is far from weak.Woven Case I learned from the website that this case is made by weaving carbon fiber, and it turned out to be more premium than I expected. The quality is excellent, and rather than feeling like regular carbon material with colors added, it’s woven with different colors, resulting in an exceptionally clean design that I really like.Impressive Design The idea of a woven case is already innovative, but adding patterns with different colors to the back is an excellent idea. The open design around the buttons makes them easy to press, and the speaker cutouts are so precise that it feels seamless, with no discomfort compared to the bare iPhone.Tone-Difference Camera Protection The camera protection area is made of silver plastic. This brighter tone contrasts beautifully with the darker carbon fiber of the back, giving it a luxurious feel while providing perfect protection for the camera. Initially, I thought it was made of steel, but on closer inspection, I realized it’s plastic, which was a surprising detail.Conclusion I don’t just use Pitaka for the iPhone 16; I use their products for almost all my accessories, including iPads, chargers, and car mounts. That’s because I can’t find any faults with their research into user patterns, excellent quality, and friendly customer service. When looking at the new Woven series, I could see how Pitaka’s pursuit of perfection is reflected in every detail. From the design, quality, usability, and luxurious feel, there’s nothing lacking in this case, and I would recommend it to all my friends.

The best case for the iPhone out of dozens I have tried over the years. It is thin and fits perfectly but has some decent drop protection. I want some protection without making it huge and bulky and this is exactly that.

After the original review (below) was posted, Pitaka customer service reached out and offered me their military-grade protective case, which has been great, and I would probably go 4-5 stars on that. I’m standing by my original review, but will bump this up to 4 stars for Pitaka’s customer service.——-I want to love this case. It's thin, light, and feels fantastic in the hand - the weaved fibers feel almost leather-like. What perplexes me about it though is how poorly it works with screen protectors. Every single screen protector that I have tried in combination with this case has cracked and broken at the edge. One would think that the makers (Pitaka) would understand that folks who use a minimally protective case like this are those who are trying to prevent minor scratches and dings on their device and would also have a screen protector installed. I am exceedingly careful with my devices and still have had multiple screen protectors break while using this case. Never had that problem with another case. Wouldn't recommend.

Old Review: Very tight fit, but very slippery and the lip doesn’t go over a screen protector, so your finger catches the edge of the screen protector when you’re swiping up. I returned it.Updates: they contacted me and asked if they could send another case. They followed through and sent a Great case. It was a more expensive version of what I had purchased previously and it fits perfectly!Excellent customer service!!!
