Has just the right amount of sheen for my work
I'm a fan of Hard Wax oils in general, having used a two part product for many years. I typically apply two coats of a wax finish and then overcoat with a ceramic coating for improved water resistance and sheen. I had heard good things about OSMO finishes and gave this version a try and I'm very happy I did! I don't like built up surfaces for furniture, often Hard Wax is a bit too matte and can look under finished. This finish imparts a durable sheen without that poly look! This size is a great way to test on different woods before committing to a larger can. What I liked:1. Sanding and prep is the same for all finishes of this type. That part stays consistent.2. The sheen is perfect for my taste. Even after a single coat. I used it without the additional ceramic protective coating and I liked it better.3. Pleasant odor that dissipated quickly after drying.4. Shortens my process by days for furniture that doesn't really need a secondary ceramic coating.5. No mixing, doesn't require a separate hardener.Note:Observe the warnings for disposal of materials after use.You still need to properly dispose of any application and polishing cloths in a tightly covered metal bin.

My new favorite finish
This is easy to use and has a great finish. I have already purchased another can.

Great product
Wish I would has found this sooner. Used on custom made Ash wood bed frame and headboad. Way easier to use the polyurethane with almost no odor. It's my new go to finish.

Beautiful, durable finish
We decided to install a butcher block countertop over our washer and dryer. We originally used paste wax, but any water seemed to go right through it. I saw reviews for this product on YouTube and decided to try it out. After removing all of the paste wax down to bare wood, I applied this with a blue Brillo and wiped off the excess. I buffed that and the applied another coat until the wood (walnut) would absorb no more. Wiped the excess and buffed it again. The result was a beautiful, rich, durable finish.

Great product, but get the bigger can, this thing is tiny
I'm glad I chose this product for an old teak table top that I repurposed for a standing desk. My neighbor sanded it for me (to 250) and then I used a superfine scuff pad to apply three coats. I have some left, but not enough to finish another table surface. I did not realize how little the can was, my fault for not reading the volume and comparing prices. You can hold it between your thumb and index finger! Unless you are sure you won't need more, I would recommend the .75 L which is a way better deal.

Crazy nice for tropical wood.
This is a before and after Macadamia wood cut from tree in my yard. Product goes on easy buffs great. Looks amazing. Used it on splated grapefruit and java plum. I make sushi platters this stuff just works.

Major hype, poor results. It’s liquid wax and oil in a can.
I have no idea why there is so much hype about this product. I’m a professional finisher and antique furniture restorer; and many of my cohorts swear by this product. I bought an expensive little can of it and was unimpressed with the finish, sheen, and durability on walnut. You can only apply two coats and then it’s stops bonding to itself. There are several other reasons why I don’t use it. My advice is, learn how to finish, or hire a professional finisher. There is no magic can that finishes furniture professionally without skill. I would not recommend it.
