I Cut holes in new stainless steel sink.This is the best hole cutting bit I have ever used. Medium speed on a 20 volt drill driver this cut quickly and a very clean cut out.I cut two holes with this and believe it could cut many more.

Had to cut four holes in a stainless steel pan. Perfectly cut holes every time. Bit did not dull and finished the fourth cut same as the first. Used a rigid 18 V cordless drill on speed 2. Would buy again and recommend for cutting through metal.

Recently I have done a lot of work with 304 stainless steel. I ripped apart two old Viking stainless steel grills and built one out of the best parts from each grill. It looks like the day it was built. I drilled a lot of holes in the stainless and even the best drill bits didn’t last long. On another project I needed to cut a 2” hole in 3mm 304 stainless. I was both apprehensive and skeptical that this hole saw could do it. Much to my amazement and satisfaction this hole saw did exactly that. It doesn’t cut threw like butter but with a little time and attention the job was completed and done to perfection. Not sure how many holes it would cut or how long it might work continuously on SS but I was super excited and extremely happy with my result. I did not use cutting oil or a lubricant so not sure if that would have made a difference or prolonged the life of the teeth. Highly satisfied.

As of yet I have not actually used the item to make a hole but the quality is excellent. My quandary is why was the the item packaged so absurdly incorrect. Thought I was gonna have to blast!

Works for metal not just rock

Produces accurate, well defined bores in aluminum sheet and other soft metals. Turns very true with no noticeable runout. Long lasting.
