RapalaRHCDS50 High Contrast Digital Scale ,Black, 50 lbs.

Wanted one of these Rapala scales for a while, and this year my old one croaked on me. I love this scale! It allows you to save your fish weights in multiple slots. Great build and great quality for the price.

Works great and is priced great. I haven't had any issues with it, it works perfect and is easy to use. It's also made from hard plastic which is great. I just tuck it in my fishing tacklebox so I have it ready whenever I need it. The clip works really well and is snugg but doesn't look like it would hurt the fish. It also locks so it's secure so you don't drop the fish while trying to weigh it.

I fish, just about every weekend with great days and good days since we as fisherman, never have a a bad day fishing. The bad news about this scale is it give false readings all the time! I used to land 5lb large mouth almost every trip as heard in all the stories I would tell. Then I decided to buy this scale. The first time it was used my buddy caught an 8+ pound Florida large mouth. It was the biggest fish he’d ever caught. He put it on the scale and it read 5.33lbs. After the reading, it turns out it wasn’t the biggest he’d ever caught as he’d definitely pulled multiple 7 pounders. He told me I needed to return it and get my money back as the scale is obviously broken. The next weekend I landed a monster - it had to be 26 inches long based on my experience. The scale read 3.22. At that moment I knew this scale was wrong.That evening I brought the scale in and grabbed a 1lb weight. I knew I would prove this thing wrong. I turned on the scale, let it adjust to 0.00 and then attached the weight.First reading - 1.02What? Something's not right. I turn off the scale and turned it back on and let it adjust to 0.00.Second reading - 1.01I was broken.Needless to say, after multiple attempts, in all seriousness, it's pretty darn accurate.Although you probably will not get much joy putting your own fish on the scale, you will definitely get a kick out of weighing your buddies fish after getting his best guess.

Makes weighting fish easy and quick. Best I can tell it’s pretty accurate. The clip that goes on the fishes mouth is very effective. I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a good scale.

This was a replacement for one like it I have been using for three years that somehow got broken on my boat. Nobody knows how. These are not the most calibrated scales however, they are quick and easy to cull by.

Super accurate easy to read worth all the money

it's a nice unit but a little over priced. i've found a handful of other scales that can do the same thing for a better price rage but decided to go with this anyway just because i fuks with the rapala brand. besides that it's a good unit
