Bought this camera 6 months ago. easy to set up, wifi working great, clear pictures, alarm works great, motion detection very good.

The AOSU solar camera is a solid choice for home security, with easy installation, great video quality, and reliable motion detection. I had some initial Wi-Fi connectivity issues, but AOSU’s customer service was outstanding—responsive, patient, and quick to resolve my problem. Now, the camera works flawlessly. Highly recommend for both the product and the support!

I have purchased three of these solar powered cameras. These cameras are amazing and the best value of all the cameras I have researched. Their app and setup is simple. I also purchased 128GB SD cards to use and they work great on recording events for playback on the app. One of the cameras stopped charging from the built in solar panel after 7 months. It only took one phone call and two emails and within two days they shipped me a new camera. Customer service was great and I would highly recommend these cameras if you are looking for a wireless security camera at a great price.

The media could not be loaded. Updating my review after a few more weeks of using this. Camera Placement is important and making sure it is mounted Securely. Now that we have moved it to a better location, the camera seems to perform much better. It is tracking and picking up the correct vehicles and people. Aosu is also great to work with should you have an issue. I am much more pleased with this camera. Also, battery life has been great. we have had several cloudy days in a row and the camera has never been low on battery. Love that this item is fully integrated so there are ZERO wires on it.The photo and video quality of this camera are definitely up to par for its price. I am quite pleased with that aspect. Night vision is good as is the color night vision. Our house is on a cul-de-dac and we get people regularly circling. I want to see anyone who goes up our driveway or walks through the yard. Today we had a UPS delivery. He typically walks to the left of the mailbox. Unfortunately where I have the camera pointed, it does not pickup that motion when he delivered today. What it did pickup is the wife's car in the driveway as well as EVERY GUST OF WIND. I think the Motion detection is very pointed. I can make it work as the house is covered by other cameras. Now, watch the car video. the camera does not track its motion even with that setting enabled. It does seem to track a Human walking up the driveway but it seems to take forever to trigger itself. at night, you can see the red glow and you can count to 5 or 6 seconds before it kicks on the white lights. in addition, you can easily outwalk the motion tracking. it then resets it self very quickly. SECURITY ISNT JUST ABOUT HUMANS. Vehicles can also pose a threat.I wish the below from it:1. Wider motion sensing2. Better tracking of what it is in motion3. Slower reset to default positionWhat I do like is that it connects good to my Wifi, it takes the Micro SD for saving local video and that it didnt need any wires to install. I also like the PTZ and the panorama for quick access to an area. This covers about 270 degrees around to the garage. I want to be able to track someone or a vehicle all the way to the garage apron. unless they move very very slow, it will not do that. Makes me wish I had bought a 4 pack of Static Solar ones instead.

Camera works great now after some initial problems. Contacted Julie of AOSU support and was given a replacement camera that works wonderfully. I am able to monitor the front of my house and to be alerted when someone approaches. Video is very clear. Very easy to install and setup. Plus great support from Julie!

I purchased 3 outdoor AOSU cameras, 1 indoor AOSU camera and 1 AOSU doorbell camera. This was 3 separate purchases within a few months. All were handled expeditiously and arrived on time. Installation of each was simple and straight forward. The Wireless connection for each camera was accomplished easily with no problems outside of needing to purchase a WiFi extender to bring a wifi signal from the router to the other side of the house for the most distant camera to operate.Every camera operated perfectly and the pictures were unbelievably clear and detailed.I chose to not use the cloud storage but rather installed 256gb mini SD cards in the 3 outdoor cameras for recording any and all events.One problem developed after 4 months with 1 outdoor camera - there appeared an area on the picture that was blurry and could not be remedied by merely cleaning the lens - it seems there was an internal leak or something inside the lens that could not be cleared. I contacted AOSU customer support and they could not have been more helpful. After emailing them pictures of the installed camera and a still shot of the camera's picture showing the blur spot, they immediately sent me another brand new replacement camera. I was amazed at how smooth, fast and simple they made this happen.AOSU is obviously an extremely reputable company that cares about their customers. They will be my security camera goto company for the future.

Great outdoor camera. This is my 6th AOSU camera with solar panels and it works so well for security and to help monitor my elderly mom. You just install it on a wall or post where there is sunlight and you are set. The set up is easy. There is also two way talk, tracking and you can share the camera feeds with family. I buy a SD card for loop recording but you can also subscribe to cloud storage. Customer service is amazing. If where you mount the camera doesn’t have enough sun, the company sends you an extra solar panel to install for backup energy. You just have to email Aosu support. Great company. Will continue to be a customer!
