Great clippers so far!
My order of these clippers came today and I have already used them! That being said, if anything changes with the clippers I will edit my review. These clippers are more quiet than the larger, standard clippers. They are smaller and more lightweight which makes it easier to cut my son’s hair. The fact that they don’t have a cord is also a huge pro. My son threw them on the ground and they didn’t break or anything. They only come with a few size guards. The longest being a little less than 1/2” so if you like your kids hair longer than that these probably aren’t for you. The scissors have longer guards but I haven’t tried those yet. I just wanted to let you in on my super hack for kids that struggle with hair cuts. I put my son in the bathtub and ran the water while cutting. He couldn’t hear the clippers over the water and he was busy playing with the water faucet to notice what I was doing. Complete game changer! Also the clean up was a breeze. It says you can use them on wet hair but I will only use them dry. So far great product!

Exactly what I needed!
Purchased these so I could cut my son’s hair myself. We’ve tried going to a salon and getting a professional haircut but he did not want to sit still. These give me the opportunity to cut his hair effectively while he is still comfortable. No noise. Lightweight. Very good quality.

I would rebuy this product
They are awesome with cutting hair for kids and the noise level doesn’t even bother or scare the little one while cutting hair. It’s smooth and don’t pull when shaving the little one’s hair to we’re they feel comfortable while cutting their hair. The shaver is really easy to clean but the oil was a little hard to open and the oil doesn’t have no lid to close the oil. Very durable tho

Product works, Mom doesn’t
They seem to work just fine. There is a learning curve for sure as it is easier to get the hair stuck in these guards if kiddo pulls away than when using a razor. My kiddo is VERY sensitive and even hates having his hair combed. I was hoping this would solve all of our haircut problems, but it definitely didn’t. Honestly, I think his first cut with these was worse because it was different and therefore scary. However, I’m hoping that if we keep easing into them, eventually it will become easier. Also, my kiddo is a fighter and continually tries to push the scissors away. I accidentally cut his finger when it got in the way and felt absolutely terrible. If you have a very sensitive kiddo, definitely take LOTS of time easing them into the change.

Good quality
Honestly 5 stars for the design and quality. Unfortunately my little still won’t be calm for a haircut.

Easy peezy hair cutting (ASD)
Our son is on the spectrum and it’s always difficult to cut his hair. Usually it takes the two of us and a few struggles.Received these today, use them for the first time and his hair has never looked better with minimal issues or fussing! If I could give a 20 out of 5 I would!

Loved the concept, just didn’t work
Loved the idea of this hair cutter for our 4 yo. He has a lot of very thick hair; it’s straight, but he is bi-racial so it’s thick and a little corse. We tried every guard it came with and nothing worked. With our regular clippers, we use a 3 guard and it gives him a great buzz cut. I guess this one just isn’t strong enough.

Dull scissors- great concept though
I love the idea of these. They are easy to assemble and very straightforward. However, the scissors were very dull. They would pull the hair and cause my son pain rather than cutting. Also, the guards have the name “scaredy cat” on them. I find that name to be somewhat offensive to people that struggle with getting haircuts due to ASD (I’m not taking that into account in my review- I know there is a pet version. But maybe it would be smart to rebrand the guards for humans?)The customer service team has been wonderful to work with!
