Better than expected!
I purchased it as a replacement for my mic arm (the one that came stock with the arm was extremely bulky) and I didn't have high expectations but it exceeded them. Very sturdy and has held up to being bumped into and my cat assaulting it. Very solid build and I couldn't have asked for a better clamp for the price!

super clap on microphone stand
a microphone stand without a clamp on holder is like a kiss without a hug - it just doesn't work. This makes life bearable again.

Solid clamp, but the adhesives are sub par
It's a lot better than what came with my $12 mic arm, don't get me wrong. But the adhesive on the top piece of rubber has come almost completely, and the screw went straight through the piece on the bottom. It's not a very big issue, I fixed the top one by just taking it off and placing it where it needs to be when screwing it down. The bottom piece of rubber was never really an issue.

Meets the need to hold a boom mic
Simple and effective. Clamp it to the desk and stick your boom in the hole. Stevie Wonder could do it.
