Vaincre Copper Tape (1inch X 66 FT), Copper Foil Tape with Conductive Adhesive for Stained Glass, Guitar, EMI Shielding, Crafts, Electrical Repairs and Grounding

I was looking for an inexpensive way to electronically shield a guitar, with the other method being shielding paint, which can be messy and expensive. I don't have previous experience with shielding/copper tape, so I can't compare this to other brands, but I was blown away at how easy it was to apply this to multiple crevices and surfaces of the guitar with no issues and great adhesion. Given my experience with normal tape I full expected this to start peeling off or be difficult to stick, but this was almost as easy as painting it on. I've also tested the electrical conductive properties of the adhesive and everything checks out. I taped up a whole guitar and pickguard and still have lots of tape to spare for many more projects. Great stuff!

I felt this product worked great. I was skeptical but willing to try anything to stop those pesky slugs from eating my potted plants . I put it around the rims of my plant pots and the slugs stayed out the entire summer and autumn. I did find it was easier to do in small strips and slightly overlap to go around the diameter of the pot. The tape is very sticky and will easily adhere to itself if you aren't careful. Great product...will use again.

I used the 1&2 inch wide to shield my guitars. It worked great. Was easy to work with, thin enough to mold and thick enough to not tear.

I ordered two of these and I've used both rolls already the first roll was exactly what I expected and it worked perfectly for me. However, the second roll I used had issues which is why I chose to give four stars instead of five. For some reason the tape would snag and rip just from unrolling it not, even from peeling it or anything it was like something was stuck to the side of the roll. Sections would stick together causing it to snag and tear just from unwinding it before I even had a chance to peal or stick it to anything. It didn't tear completely or anything but it ripped little chunks outa the side atleast 8 or 10 times before I got through the whole roll.

A little thin but works great for keeping slugs away, easy to use and peels great, and the roll has more than I can use, good size.

The media could not be loaded. This year I wanted to try something new since crushed egg shells, beer traps, chili powder, and a bag of snail & slug bait hasn’t worked in keeping snails away from my plants. Anyway, I recently learned that copper alloy has some interesting properties and copper tape has properties that sets off a chemical reaction in snails & slugs that they rather avoid. I don’t know if it kills them or just sets up a protective barrier they avoid and move on but it is something I haven’t tried. My biggest decision would be should I buy 1-inch or 2-inch tape. I decided on 2-inch tape for a thicker barrier that would make it impossible to “stretch” over and not spend a lot of money on it should it not work. Let’s hope there’s truth to the hype.The tape appears to be of a good quality and thickness. The backing is easy to separate & remove and the adhesive is substantial. Since I was doing more than one bucket I’d recommend measuring your target area and cutting a strip for the amount. Use that strip to cut a second strip to avoid measuring each individual bucket. When applying, expose only a small amount of adhesive at a time then roll the tape out. The adhesive is strong and the tape is thin, so it can be unforgiving of mistakes. Once applied it’s pretty strong and hard to remove without damage to the tape (at least on a plastic surface). It’s like working with clingy plastic wrap. As for cloth pots, I can either mark off the area around the pot or make a ring to insert on the crown of the plant with the tape. Either way, I recommend the tape for ease of use, quality and durability. 5 stars! -I now understand why many planters come decorated with copper bands.

I used this copper tape around all my garden barrels, keeps slugs from making it to my plants. Works great. Good adhesive. Lasts for a couple of seasons. I also use it for craft projects. I love this product. Excellent value! Would definitely purchase again.

This product does not work as advertised. The conductivity is no good. The adhesive side has issues. I would return it, but my return window closed. I would buy something else.
