OMG! This bass is FENOMENAL especially for the price.It is just as good or even a bit better than my Gibson, Ibanez and some of my other bass guitars, (11total), that I own.The quality is great.The finish is great.The neck is outstanding, especially with the super glide satin finish for fast and easy playing.The pickups are just fine but an upgrade will surely help to make this even better.The practice amp is very adequate for the beginners and for playing in the house where you do not need very loud volume. I hooked up the bass to my Marshall head and the bass preformed beautifully.Out of the box the only thing that I had to do with this bass was to tune it, set the action and adjust the intonation on the E string.Beginners and experienced players definitely should get this bass.

I like the PJ bass I think it is best for learning and I only use it as a hobby more so to play along with songs i enjoy. The only problem i really have is there is no instruction manual that comes with my order so I had to tune it (first ever bass there is no way it’s in tune) and the amp buzzes quite often which can affect how i playa and hear my music.I recommend this to new bassist as it’s a cheap way to get into playing!

Awesome beginner bass. Looks and feels good after some slight neck tuning and action adjustment. Stays in tune, and plays well. It can’t get better for the price.

I was doubtful, but it is a great starter kit.

I'm teaching myself how to play, so this is my first bass guitar and I like it. The small speaker that comes with it sounds good to practice with.Fyi ... It just comes with the bass, the small speaker, case & wires.Everything else are extra accessories I purchased.

Everything worked right out the box. the amp is not that great, but that's to be expected at this price. When the bass is plugged directly into my 8track (not using cheap amp) it sounds clean. This will get me started just fine.

This bass guitar is great! When I first began playing it, the fretboard had left some black paint on my fingers but that issue went away quickly so if you're concerned about that, don't be lol. Easy to play with and the amp is pretty good. If you're looking for an amp to play at parties however, I would suggest to get a separate one as this amp isn't *super* loud. Loud enough to play with friends in the garage, not loud enough to play at a house party. Overall it's well made and enjoyable to play, I would recommend this to people :)
