GREAT REVERSE camera. Clear and bright. Because the LEDs are on when powered, it won't work for me.
Bought this camera and, admitedly, didn't read the entire description. I wanted a camera that I could view whenever I wanted to. My stereo allows me to view the rear camera at the push of a button and this works, HOWEVER, the LEDs come on any time the camera is active (powered). This is CLEARLY stated in the description again, that I didn't read. My own fault. The camera was great in that it actually plugged straight into by existing plug and the video was fantastic. Just didn't want to drive around with the LEDs on whenever I wanted to check on a trailer or something. I'll keep the camera and still give it five stars but will give it to a friend who may have a need for it.

Works on 2016 Nissan Frontier
We ordered the 720p camera that mounts on the license plate at the back of the truck based on reviews, and installed this on our 2016 Nissan Frontier SV King cab 4cyl without a backup camera but has a factory 2 DIN stereo/radio with a 4.3" display. We also did a lot of research and ordered a separate wiring harness (AX-NIS-ADDCAM1) to hook up this camera to the existing stereo and also bought 1/4" split loom to protect those thin wires on the outside of the truck (15 to 20’ should work). We were pleasantly surprised that this whole setup works. Here is what we did: On the back of the stereo, RCA goes to RCA, red trigger wire on the extension wire goes to the green trigger wire on the harness. We taped the yellow and black leads on the harness as we did not use those. At the back of the truck, we connected the camera’s red wire to the reverse light’s positive/red wire and also tap that to the trigger wire on the RCA extension cable (red wire). The black wire goes to the negative/black wire on the reverse light. Not sure how long this camera will last, but so far so good with some light rain on it, and I plan to update this review if it fails too soon. (Picture is to show the type of factory stereo on the truck)

Works great
Works great. Looks just about the same as factory backup cameras. Easy enough install if you have experience automotive audio. Connected to my aftermarket jvc touchscreen. Makes hooking up rv travel trailer much easier when doing it without help. Nice clear FOV and guidelines are pretty accurate.

Buy the lower resolution model!
I heeded some other warnings and purchased the 720p version and am so happy with it. It makes my 2010 Honda feel modern, especially in combination with my screen. Install was not terrible, I drilled a small hole and fed the wires through the trunk and under the trim into my radio. The red wire near the radio went with the Violet and White stripe wire that controls reverse cam input and the other red wire connects into the reverse light. For reference I used a 800x400 screen by pioneer (dmh-w3000nex)

Installed on 2003 Honda Accord
Very easy to install just ran the red trigger wire from the RCA end that connects to headunit onto the reverse input cable off the head unit harness. After that I ran all the wires to the back though the trunk, then tapped into the reverse bulb signal wire for both the red cables at the end of the wiring provided for both the RCA and the camera power wires and the ground was tapped into the reverse bulb ground. Works well and has decent enough quality to see everything behind me.

Excellent Quality and Easy Installation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The media could not be loaded. I’m very impressed with this license plate camera! The build quality is solid and feels very durable right out of the box. One of the standout features is its waterproof resistance—I’ve driven through heavy rain, and it’s performed flawlessly without any issues. The image quality is also excellent, clear and sharp both during the day and at night. It gives a wide-angle view that really helps with reversing and parking.I also appreciated the sturdy mounting bracket that made installation a breeze. It attached securely to my license plate without any extra drilling or hassle.Another big plus is the super long wiring harness, which made routing the cables through the car incredibly easy. There was plenty of length to reach from the back of my SUV to the dashboard, with room to spare.Overall, this is a high-quality camera at a great price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle’s safety features.

Did the right thing
(Please read update below.)After all the pains of installation due to the laughable installation instructions (a picture page of the pieces involved with very little relation to reality plus Chinese-English text that pretty much said, “Install here”), the actual camera sends no image to the head unit. Tested all circuits, used CCTV monitor, all wiring of good, camera is DOA. I have contacted eRapta.New:ERapta reached out to me via email. They have refunded the original purchase price and have promised me a replacement camera. I can’t give the product a complete review until I receive the camera, but the customer service is good.

rca connector is fragile, good product support from vendor
edit 2: my concerns about the bracket were well founded. We took the car through an automatic car wash and it bent. I was able to bend it back at least.edit: bumping up to four stars. the companycontacted me and offered a full refund for the trouble I had with the cable. Much appreciated. They also offered to send me a new cable (not needed since I repaired the old one).On initial install the camera was flaky, which I traced to the rca connector on the screen side. I guess I damaged it fishing it through the dash. The camera works well after soldering a new connector on the cable.I worry about how easily the mount can be bent. This makes it easy to adjust, but it might get knocked and then the guidelines will no longer be accurate.
