I've used this to clear a lot of brush. It holds up well, just don't expect there to be no scratches. My only disappointment is that the saw edge is completely a facade and can't be used as an actual saw. You get what you get for a cheap machete, and exceeds my expectations for the price. It also looks really cool and you can't say no to that.

sturdy, simple construction. sharp ready to hold and swing. no frills, no nonsense. functional.

Two negatives: 1) the sheath sling at full extension is too small & I’m a medium build. 2) the corded grip was loose (easy fix).Pros: sharp out of the box. Nice balance favoring the blade. The sheath nicely build for something cheap. The are two plastic pieces on the hilt for widening the grip (nice touch).Not much to say, but nice machete.

I tried this knife on a coconut and it was amazing sharp!! Great product!

One side is completely full of pressure fractures. Which occurs during making the blade. How this passed a quality test I will never know. Unless they just didn’t check. One it and the whole thing will not only crack but be potentially dangerous as it could fly apart and cut someone.
