OtterBoxGalaxy S22 Ultra Defender Series Case - Black, Rugged & Durable, with Port Protection, Includes Holster Clip Kickstand

It is now March 2025. I bought this case September 2022. This case comes with a hard plastic outer frame which I have never used. The case is a rubber covering over a thin internal plastic frame. This case makes the already large Samsung s22 Ultra phone even bigger and more bulky. It is definitely not tight front pocket friendly. However I have had many gasp and oh crap moments where my phone has been dropped or Fallen from significant Heights onto hard concrete and tile floors and concrete pavement. My phone and screen have been flawlessly protected. The only scratches and nicks on my phone are from before my case arrived when my phone has fallen out of my pocket while getting out of my car and falling all the way to the pavement. I consider myself lucky my phone wasn't broken on those incidences and I do not believe it could have taken many more. It has definitely taken more Falls but not since having this OtterBox case. The outer plastic sleeve and Holster / belt clip are completely useless to me but if you are an old timer or carry a lot of stuff on your belt, not in your pockets and don't mind having your phone outside of your pants then you have that option available. You must decide what is most important to you Ultra sleek and slimness or Ultra protection. For my activities habits and work I needed more protection than sleekness.

What is there to say? IT'S AN OTTER BOX. I don't even consider other options, yeah they're ugly, but I want to have a phone that will work every time and not worry about if it falls from hands or a table. It's as reliable as it gets. Because it was so cheap, I purchased a salmon colored phone, this case hide all evidence of the color of the phone, LOL; EXQUISITE!

One of the reasons I bought this case is because I got a free rubber replacement for my previous one, when the rubber eroded. Once again, the rubber started eroding off, first from the charger port (that's fine), then from the corners.Now it's still free, but they're charging $10 for shipping and handling.I'll probably still buy from them, because I'm a klutz and these work, but I'll shop a little harder for my next phone.

Phone case is sturdy and protects device well. Easy installation. Easy to grip/hold. Not to bulky with a nice design
