I ordered a different dual fuel gas stove before ordering this one. I paid about $44.00 for it which included tax. I was able to get a refund for it, and they told me to keep the product. I paid about $20.00 more for this one, the Grill Boss. It was evident, as I opened the case, that it is a much better product than the one that I had ordered previously. I don't understand, however, that in their listing on Amazon that it is indicated as being good for use in emergencies. When I read the instructions manual that came with the Grill Boss, I learned that it can be used in a restaurant, but that it is not recommended for use in a residence. I purchased it for power outage emergencies, and plan to use it in our home. It wouldn't be wise to cook outside where any passerby could get a whiff of cooking food. This is a reasonably quality product that I feel confident using. Another subject indicated in the owner's manual that only a specific butane product be used with the cooker. I chose a different butane product that not only is UL listed, but it is also CRV certified. CRV certification warrants that the product is explosion proof with countersink release vents located inside the top rim of the cannister. That butane product is the one that I will be using. The Grill Boss appears to be a good purchase.

Awesome piece of camping equipment

Yes the case is flimsy, yes the materials feel cheap and light weight, and yes, it works like a champ. I cook Japanese Chanpuru or other Asian stir fry or curries several times a week and got annoyed that the new house has an electric range preventing me from using my woks. This little guy heats up FAST with butane and cooks with efficiency. I do use it indoors, just don't plan on long cooks and crack a window. Buy butane at a local Asian grocer, $2/can.

I gave this stove a try this morning and I think it will be great on days when I have little solar power.

Whether. Camping or power outage we will be ready.

OKAY! WOW!This stove performs BETTER THAN I EXPECTED! Which; though this is a rare occurrence, IS AWESOME!The thing gets plenty hot for stir fry and wok cooking.Easy assembly with good instructions.This seems to be “the one”

I’ve been using this stove for about 6 months now and I love it. I love the fact that’s it’s duel fuel and can run on either 1lb propane bottles with the included adapter hose, or cans of butane. I use this is my apartment regularly with the 1lb propane bottles and switch to butane when I need something more compact. When definitely recommend for someone who camps or just need an extra cooktop at home.

Compact and works great. Canoed the Colorado river by Moab for four days and used it for meals and hot drinks. Great value when size, weight and stability are all factors.
