An important note regarding those who say this is dangerous, which it’s not
My cats love love love sparkler streamers; the old wand gave out and all the snap ons I had eventually fell apart too and I bought this one, they still love it!The sound and colors really attract them and the metallic nature of the material really makes a rustling noise when you toss it around. My cats don’t respond as enthusiastically to felt or feather teasers, but the Mylar like ones wow. This is also a great cat toy because it has a leader like fishing attachment so you can interchange when needed. But in regards to those that say it’s a dangerous toy- wands should NEVER be left out after YOU are done playing with them. I never leave the wand out when I am done playing with my cats mainly for the reason because they can eat parts that are harmful. They are 9 years old now and still alive and love wand cat toys. This toy is used to enact the predatory instincts in your cat and if left unmonitored they are likely to eat it- of course if they eat it it can cause problems...I’m not trying to be insensitive to anyone who has had a bad experience with their cats eating the toy but.. it’s not something that should be left accessible to the cat unsupervised!Anyways, great toy- just be responsible about it

HOOKED
This is my kitten's fave toy. Whenever I bust it out, his eyes get really big and his tail starts swishing. I switch between DaBird, Wild Thing and this one - this one is his absolute fave. He'll run around and chase it nonstop until he gets it. Highly recommend!!

5 out of 5 cats recommend this toy!
Every single one of my 5 cats would tell you that this is the best toy I've ever bought them. I've been my cats' human for 7 years, including a while working at a specialty pet store. We've probably tried most of the toys on the market. One of my cats is a 2 year old Siamese with an insane energy level. He usually destroys toys in a single session, but this has held up for 2 or 3 intense play sessions a day (15 to 30 mins each) for the better part of a week so far. We've lost a few mylar strands, but it looks and works as well as new still! The toy makes a really appealing noise when it moves through the air. It's also an ideal weight for use on the Da Bird wand. It soars through the air and zips on the ground, so it works for all play types. It's also hard for the cat to truly grab and hold onto it, and it seems very resistant to biting damage. The only concern I have is my cats potentially eating the tassels that fall off. I do walk around the house to clean up strays after we play and hide it in a closet when not in use.

3 out of 3 cats recommend
This is one of only very few toys that all 3 of my boys enjoy. "Flies" well and they seem to enjoy the crinkly noise it makes when it lands too. So far it has held up surprisingly well to my 3 big boys attentions. Many previous toys similar to this met a sad, dismembered fate after only a few play times but his is holding up really well. Only 1 or 2 strand have been pulled out after more then a month of use several times a week. When it finally falls apart I will definitely replace it. Unless the boys have gotten sick of it by then... they are cats after alll.

Love the Mylar sparkle
One of my cats goes nuts for Mylar tassels. This one doesn’t disappoint. Love the Go Car quality. Hope they keep coming up with new ideas!

Definitely gets my cat's attention!
My cats love this sparkler. Wasn't sure they would but they do! My only concern is that my female cat attacked it with vengence and bit through one of the strands. We had to immediately extract the toy from her mouth. She had such a grip the tinsel separated from teh red rubber tip. I can't fault the product for my cat's desire but i didn't think the unit should separate so easily. I had to glue the tinsel unit back into the rubber tip. Also, in pulling on it, the swivel is starting to pull through the red rubber tip. It's a great idea but not sure the quality is there so only rating 4 stars. That said, my cats go nuts over it. We've gone through several feather attachments, etc. Keep an eye on these toys - Cats are hunters by nature. this toy helps to satisfy them and we find they're much more content and relaxed the rest of the day. we have several attachments to mix it up for them.

Cat is OBSESSED!
I have an older that generally likes to play, but in short spurts and he gets tired of toys fairly quickly, forcing me to rotate through really regularly. When his last Da Bird attachment was looking ragged I started searching for alternatives, thinking I'd find some stuff he'd like so Da Bird stays exciting for him. Well....Da Bird is now second best because my cat is OBSESSED with this sparkler which is funny because he's not much for other crinkly toys. He chases and jumps and sprints after this thing likes he's 1 and not 11, and if I hadn't put it away after 15 minutes yesterday he absolutely would have kept going. I'm so happy to have found this and recommend it to anyone looking for some alternative attachments for a cat wand.

Obsessed!
Our cat goes BERSERK over this toy when attached to then of her wand toy. She jumps in the air like a maniac and will chase this thing around for like 30 minutes straight, which is great for getting her nighttime energy out so she can let us sleep!
