Very good. Cuts cleanly. I can quarter tablets neatly. Cut tablets can be stored in the tablet cutter safely and seals firmly so you don't lose the cut tablets. Brilliant little brush to clean.

Cutting small pills in half is really difficult. This made it so much easier. Works perfectly.

The tablet I needed to cut is small (3mm diameter), so I wasn't expecting perfection. This device did the job. The V-shape arms allow the pill to be pushed in fairly securely and the blade did cut rather than crush the pill. However it isn't particularly accurate, which on a small pill does make a difference and sometimes the tablet breaks into fragments. I'm not sure there is anything that would work better so I was happy overall.

I use this as I only need half a tablet per day and this does the job efficiently.

This is an inexpensive pill cutter made from brittle rigid plastic that will likely last a few months before cracking or getting dropped on the floor and shattering. If longevity and a sleek appearance are important to you, look elsewhere.I bought this pill cutter because it was the least expensive one I could find. I need it to split my lactase pills which are small and crumbly but need to be divided accurately. It works for these, but with some limitations. As my photos show, it will cut in half and quarters, but not eighths as the listing claims. (It may work for eighths for bigger pills, but I didn't test any, so YMMV.)Overall the pill cutter is sturdy enough to do the job of cutting my chalky pills. I do wonder how long the catch will last though, and once that goes the whole thing should be replaced as it contains a razor blade mounted in the lid that has no sheath and relies on the lid remaining firmly shut for safety. In fact, any part of the internals chipping off would render the pill cutter unusable, so I don't expect it to last long.The other thing that annoys me is the brush. It's a great idea to include a small brush to clean out fragments of one type of pill before cutting another type, but I wish they had paid a bit more attention to aesthetics. It is opaque black and doesn't look like it goes with the blue pill cutter (or any of the other colours of pill cutter available), and there is nowhere to store it. If it were foldable or a little shorter it could have gone inside the closed pill cutter and been neatly stored. Even a clip on one side would have held it, since it mirrors the shape of the closed pill cutter. As it is, I have had to secure it with a rubber band so I'm not constantly looking for it.One final point is that it is quite fiddly to manipulate the pill into the right spot. I managed to tilt the whole pill cutter to rotate the pill to lie with the score line under the blade in the right orientation, but I imagine for someone with less nimble fingers it might prove difficult. Inclusion of a small pair of tweezers would help enormously.
