Great quality, price and amount of items!
The papers that comes with it is small in size but good quality. The paints are good quality and there are a lot of colors. The tank brushes are a great addition. The tin container is sturdy, easy to clean, and compact but somehow gives so many places to mix colors. Having a color control card is a plus. The little paint brushes aren't the best of the best but they'll do especially for the overall price and the quality of the rest of the items.I am a beginner and I think this is a perfect beginner set or a set for kids. The price is phenomenal for the amount of colors and accessories as well as it being made of tin with many places to mix.The paints nor the small amount of plastic in this set have no smell. I know that can be a problem with cheaper paints/plastics.

I like them
These are definitely easy to use and great for the price. You get 48 colors including 6 metallic and 6 matte, 3 small brushes, 2 fillable water brush pens, 10 watercolor papers( they’re 8 1/4 in X 4 13/16 in or 21cm X 12 1/2 cm) and a color card that you can fill in.I found that you don’t need a lot of water to activate them, and the colors are really vibrant. I’m new to watercolors, but I really like these. The colors don’t have names, but that’s not something I personally care about. The pan the colors come in have nice large spaces to mix other colors in, and there’s an extra fold out for even more space to mix colors in (which you can see in my pic) the underside of the pan has a ring so you can hold it with one hand with the help of that.I took a comparison pic of just the metallic colors on both white and black paper compared to other metallic colors I have. (Master’s Touch and Coliro/Finetec) They match up pretty close to the colors you can get with the other brands. The second pic I used the brush pen to make those with. I really like the feel of the brush pens, they’re easy to get back into shape if you use them too rough and kinda fray them out. The weird thing with them is that they twist backwards to get the top off and put water in. Instead of turning counterclockwise to get the lid off you turn clockwise and visa versa to put them on.The pans are a little small, but to you get a lot of color out of them. It seems like you get a little bit less of the metallic colors, but I found out that’s a normal thing to happen with those because of how it’s made and settles. It gets air pockets as it dries the first time, so you tend to get less. It’s not the fault of the manufacturer though, it’s just what happens.I would definitely recommend these for the price and beginners. It would be nice if there were a little bit more browns, but you can easily mix them with all the colors you get.

A great set for the price.
The box has 48 colors including 6 metallics in a metal case; 3 small brushes, 2 water brush pens, 10 watercolor sheets and a color card that you can use to know the colors that you have.I'm new to watercolors but it seems like a good set for beginners:-It comes in a wide variety of shades and the colors are vibrant.-While the metallic colors come a bit less than the rest, it is the size shown in the description image and they are perfect and good quality for details.-The metal case is easy to handle, have a great distribution of the watercolors, in the middle you can put one of the water brush pens or the little brushes and includes a palette to mixing colors, perfect for carrying around.-Although I have not use the paper, it shows that it is thick and textured enough for watercolors.I would definitely recommend these for beginners.

Great starter kit!
These are a great starter kit. Great bloom and pigmentation. Definitely a good kit for the cost. My only reason for 4 stars is they don't tell you the names of colors.

Great into set for a beginner/intermediate
Great set! Colors are vibrant and smooth flowing. Metallics as well. Tin pan is nicely made, with a finger ring to hold it in your hand like a painting palette, paper and brushes are not the highest quality, but good enough to start with. It's the paints and container that are the best. Overall packaging is great. Nice gift for someone looking to start watercolor, or wanting to buy a larger set at a great price before splurging on a pro set. What I will say is I noticed it does not come with a color listing (the manufacturer might consider including one). Also, based on pics everyone is sharing and mine when I received it, the color blocks are not in the same order every time. I had to manually do my own color block arrangement to assure it was in color order. A fun experiment nonetheless to explore the colors and arrange accordingly, but would be nice if it was already set up properly and came with a list. Great set and value overall!

Super fun set of paints!
I have a couple of traditional watercolor sets that are great but they are pro paints. I wanted something fun to use with unique colors that I wouldn’t hesitate to simply use AND share with my grandkids when they visit. The Emooqi paints filled this want exactly. They came beautifully packaged along with two water brushes, 3 small traditional style brushes and paper. I swatched the colors and played a little with some mixes using the paper in the set. I love the paper! It’s reminiscent to the Jane Davenport journal paper. Soft, textured and absorbent if slightly thinner. I did not wet the paints prior to swatching and as you can see, just with a wet brush, tons of color came up. The colors are vibrant and mostly transparent. The shimmer paints are lovely but I did need to pre-wet them for good color payoff. They were shimmery, creamy and there was a lot of pigment in them. I did not use the water brushes but they look sturdy and I won’t hesitate to take them along when traveling. Overall for the price you get a fantastic set of 48 paints in a sturdy tin that are a joy to use. I am thrilled with this purchase and if they are still for sale when I run out, I would definitely buy them again.
