Umami heaven
I know reviewers have said it’s a substitute for soy sauce but I’m not feeling that. I just love this stuff - it’s got a umami taste all of its own which makes reviewing it very difficult! It’s great on cheese - either melted or on a sandwich - it’s great drizzled on eggs, it’s good on all meats and is a wonderful compliment to bacon. It’s good on potatoes and drizzled over roast veg. Actually, there’s not much this doesn’t enhance. It’s just umami in a bottle - savoury and slightly sweet too, I am just waiting for a tv chef to feature this and it’ll fly.

Even nicer than Soy sauce
I love this! A great taste and it’s better for me than soy sauce. I replace all my soy sauce recipes with this and in my opinion, it tastes better.

Not fishy tasting.
Does not taste like fish unlike most soy sauces and tamari. Has a light coconut flavour with sweetness as well just 'like' soy sauce but not soy sauce at all which is a plus for me.

Pleasant Flavour but not *Very* Soy Sauce-y
I have just tried it, so will update if needs be. It tastes as I imagined from reading reviews: depth/richness similar to soy sauce; not salty like soy sauce. A little salty, a little tangy, a little fruity. I can see why some say vinegary, but it's not overpowering. It's quite nice on steamed rice; reckon it will marry well with marinades and salad dressing. Can't say I'm bowled over by it, but OK for a change.

Great on an AIP diet
Buying a lot of this now as part of an AIP diet. It's the next best sauce you can have! Well worth testing out, think this may be bottle number four!!!

Decent
Whilst I wouldn't say this is a true substitute for soy sauce in terms of taste, it is still a fairly good product. I tried a different brand previously (can't remember name) and it was more expensive and also had a strong, weird taste. This one, however, is one of the more affordable coconut aminos and doesn't have that weird taste that I initially thought coconut aminos just naturally had. The flavour is definitely on the sweeter side - some people say it's quite vinegar-y, but to me I can barely taste that and can smell it more than I can taste it, and overall it's just a really sweet flavour. My only downside is that I feel like I end up having to use too much of this at once. If I put it in something like noodles, I find even if I put in several dashes, the noodles will soak it up and the flavour just kind of dissipates and I need to pour quite a lot in to really taste it - however, if I put too much in I do feel a bit sick after. So perhaps this would be better as a kind of dipping sauce instead.

Yummy!
Bought this as an alternative to soy sauce. It's nowhere near as salty and adds great flavour to my dishes. Keto friendly too!
