Good to have
This is my personal experience: the place in Peru I had the privilege of staying- it wasn’t always necessary to have these. We only needed them if what we plugged in was a hot tool. BUT I still think it’s worth the purchase if you’re going out of the country- you never know what you’ll encounter and they are good plugs! They worked well and I would rather be safe than sorry!

Doesn’t work for Chile plugs
Chile adapter was too big to fit any plugs. The Argentina adapter did work. Save your money and buy something else

Argentina Electric Adapter
Must have if you are traveling to Argentina in South America for electricty adapter. Works well.

Only 1 Adapter Worked
I researched what type of adapters I would need for my trip to Argentina and Chile. This 2-pack containing a Type E and Type I adapter only met half of my needs. The Type I plug, which the product description said would work in Chile, did not. The prongs were too large (in diameter) for the outlets in the 7 hotels I stayed in.The Type E adapter worked perfectly in Argentina. I definitely appreciated having two outlets so I could charge two devices at once.
