I got this for $13 expecting to just use it for a little bit while I had waited to get a better one but it ended up lasting well over a year. It just kind of wore out near the base though near the end.

Portable. Strong for a lightweight boom. Works well. Holds my Shure mic with ease.

Mine arrived broken. The plastic had already cracked and the metal screw inserts weren't all the way in.You COULD make it work, but it simply wasn't worth the effort to me.

I bought this, and I was going to use it until my expensive mic boom showed up... joke's on me because once I compared this cheaper boom to the expensive one I put the expensive one right back in its box. This cheap mic boom is so smooth... There's a reason RODE uses a similar design and then covers it up with fabric and their logo to make it look fancy - this basic design is great. If you need a mic boom, buy this one - trust, dont waste your money on a more expensive boom unless there is a specific reason for it, because you'll probably like this one better. And if anyone is curious, the expensive boom that I liked less is the i-Xtech IX-MI01 HERO.

First off I was sent a used item with visible wear. Second had missing parts and an extra set of arms ontop of the ones listed and no instruction manual on how to build it after someone tried to build it the wrong way and probably returned it to which it then landed on my door step
