Works great to help soften and hydrate hair.Doesn't add a lot of shine. But does make hair feel soft and silky (works on bleached hair more often then not)Id use sparingly overall. No more than once a week. Its an intense hydrating formula.Redken makes some of the best hair products.

This is a staple product for me and my daughters. I have damaged hair from bleaching, they have curly and wavy hair. It works great for all of us. It helps soften my damaged hair. It also softens curly hair without weighing it down.

I have color-treated hair, so it does have some damage from that. However, I know the soft texture can be restored because it always feels so nice after I get a "treatment" at the salon. Since the All Soft shampoo and conditioner work well for me, I decided to try this mask. After just the first use, my hair felt noticeably softer and had fewer fly-aways. I left it on almost 30 minutes before rinsing, even though the directions didn't say to leave it on that long. The directions also said to use it once a week in place of the All Soft conditioner, but I'm planning to use it twice a week at first and reduce to once a week if it leaves my hair greasy.Based on my personal experience, I would recommend this product. My only complaint is that it did take a large amount to get full coverage of my hair. Long hair makes this not surprising, but I just wish I didn't need as much since it's not cheap, and I'll need to be replacing it more often than I'd like.

It leaves my hair soft. I just wish I got more for the price expensive product.

I’m 46 and due to some chronic health conditions and associated meds, my hair has been really bad the past 6 years between dryness, frizz, and MAJOR thinning. I hate short hair on me so I refuse to cut it shorter than shoulder length.I’ve tried just about everything out there including supplements, nioxin shampoos, serums, etc with not much luck at all so recently decided to focus more on the “science” of hair care including moisture and protein balance, ingredients to look for and stay away from, clarifying routines, etc. My hair absolutely needed more moisture and instead I’d unknowingly been over doing it with protein and other wrong type of products not good for my specific issues. So I was looking for a good deep conditioning treatment that would be best for my hair but not weigh it down. I did a clarifying shampoo first and then used this as directed and left on for 15 minutes before rinsing with cooler water. I was astonished with just that first use!!! Texture was super soft, frizz was MUCH better and also, I noticed a very real difference over the next few days in the hair loss as well! Def not “placebo effect” with the hair loss because I can easily tell with the amt l in my brush/on the floor and even the amount of hair on my pillow/sheets in the morning. I did not change anything else in terms of other products, routine, etc.I waited 4 days before washing my hair and using this again and saw continued improvement on all the same. If you want to use it more often as I will, just use a clarifying shampoo so it doesn’t build up too much. I was expecting SOME amount of improvement with the frizz and texture from one use but couldn’t get over how MUCH it helped plus I couldn’t believe it had an immediate effect on the hair loss!Mind blown and I am thrilled I decided to try this one. If you’ve got issues with your hair like mine, try it and you will not be disappointed!

I have really thick, damaged, course hair, I leave this on for at least 15 minutes once a week and it has helped with all the frizziness and makes my hair feel healthy and soft.
