Amish Country Popcorn | 10-4 Oz Bags - Purple Kernels | Old Fashioned, Non-GMO and Gluten Free

I keep this on hand at all times. I love making popcorn at home and this is my favorite - such great flavor and there's always a really low kernel amount left over after popping. The kernels themselves are so tender you can still eat the half popped ones. I keep portions of this big bag in mason jars in the fridge to keep fresh as I use it.

I bought the Amish Country sampler pack, which comes with 10 different types of popcorn, and this one was my favorite out of all of them. Definitely had the best popcorn flavor (doesn't even need salt or butter or anything). It pops in a medium sized diameter, and is soft and tender, with slightly more crunchiness than the white version. Very little hull noted, and all kernels pop every time. Had to get the big bag. Non-GMO (as are all popcorn kernels from what I researched). Doesn't say it's certified organic anywhere in the ad or on the packaging, but I'm pretty sure they don't use pesticides because I can't taste them/it doesn't make me feel weird/bad like Orville Redenbacher does. BEST popcorn I've ever had and I've had A Lot! Doesn't even need butter! Just add any kind of spice (I like zaitar or furikake) or salt or nothing at all!

Seems more crunchy than what I buy at Walmart. I make a giant tub every Saturday for our karaoke parties. It seems like more of it pops. Less wasted kernels.

Arrived today and made it on stove with good olive oil for after dinner snack. Wonderful popcorn this purple variety. A little crunchier, but hull almost imperceptible. So easy on teeth, throat & stomach. Flavor was not like yellow popcorn, hard to describe, but I like it better. I think it's more flavorful but not at all heavy or sweet. I will gladly repurchase.
