Works great to lower the height of my typing for a standing desk.
Bought for a standing desk which is too high for my shoulders (28", whereas I need 24-25"). Installed perfectly over the standing motor. The build is fine and mostly sturdy. I agree with other reviewers some of the smaller screws could be better quality wise (for the price), but the overall mechanism is sturdy and solid. Support also helped me when I got confused on the mechanism - the tilt and height on the mechanism is all connected to the turning handle (they aren't separate), so if you need to move it up and down, you adjust the turning mechanism. It IS a bit akward being right behind the tray, but I don't know how they'd fix that in a new edition. Turn it horizontal instead of vertical? Happy with the purchase overall.

Awesome
I read some of the reviews and was expecting less from this keyboard shelf. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and size. It fits my full size keyboard just fine and has a lot of space left over on the side for my mouse. I play a lot of games on my PC and it feels great during long play times. Mounting it was not difficult and all the hardware needed was included. It looks like it was part of the original desk.

Standing Desk Only!
I would give it a 2 or 3 star but the company is great! The product is great! for my need it was not great. This product is designed for a standing desk. If you have a sitting desk this doesn't work, the hardware underneath gets in the way of your legs no matter how much you try. I used the drawer for other hardware because it's a comfortable base. The pad is 5 star, the comfortable drawer is a 5 star. The company getting back to me with a question about installation is a 5 star. But the knob on the bottom is a 2 star because for a standing desk it's great, but for a sitting desk it will dig into your thigh and make you move in bad ways that killed my spine and leg for months. I still have sympathy pains after 7 months with it. Please if you get this, it's for a standing desk. It does wobble a little but that's just due to the center connection point. It's a great piece of hardware if you have the right application for it. I didn't.

Check the final position before you screw everything into place. Left, right, back, and forth.
I made my son a desk for his computer after going through the trash-wood assemble-the-parts version disaster. This tray worked out much better than the one I planned to build and let me complete the project way sooner. It has been standing up just fine and he beats it to death playing games. My first position choice was off, but luckily I propped it up and tested before screwing it in.

First day review: Adjustment knob may be the achilles heel of an otherwise good desk
Typing this review on this tray! I bought this for myselfInstallation 9/10: It installed just fine on my ikea bekant desk top and motorized legs. I don't think you will have a problem with installation for most solid wood desks.Feel 8/10 (minus one big con): I liked the swing action, a little bit of give is helpful. Its a bit bouncy, especially on the outer edges. This isn't too terrible, I can type pretty well. Not rock solid, but stable enough. I worry for how long this will last, and can imagine regular tightening will be required. One Big Con (see photo): The adjustment knob for height/angle is very big, and very prominent, right where your right knee wants to go. I can't find an ergonomic position where it doesn't bang my knee. Great for standing, but if you want to get close to this keyboard tray so your elbows are at right angles, you may find this to be a dealbraker. I am considering whether to keep it due to this and will update my review if I find a way around it.Pros: Slides well, I can find a lot of really good positions. The tilt inverts. Pad is firm, which I prefer.Smaller cons: A lot of nice positions would be if I could get the keyboard under the table somehow. I don't need to see my keys but the 2 inch slide arm gets in the way for that.More extra notes if you are considering it: If you don't like the graphics on the pad, it doesn't come attached. You can leave it off, but there are 4 big screw holes for where its mounted. Its a black carbon-fibery textured surface which looks nice on its own. Same for the wrist wrest - I haven't tried to take it off yet but it seems to just be screw mounted, so you can probably take it off and just have to deal with the recessed screw holes.

Works well.
Adjustments are good. It's a good aftermarket add on for existing desks. Adjustments hold; they do not slip over time. nice. I got the cart too.NOTE: Best application is with desks that have nothing in close proximity to the desktop (i.e., no horizontal brace within say 8 inches below the desktop)My desk has a horizontal brace that is about four inches below the desktop, so i had to install this within that 4-inch space. That means I can't push the keyboard drawer all the way in and the vertical adjustments are a bit limited. But it does put my keyboard at a better height so shoulder and arm pain are greatly reduced.
