I thought my dryer was at its end of its life. Stealing louder than the children and tv. Lucky, I bought this tune up kit and it's running good as new and I can relax and have piece in our home again

Chances are, your drum rollers have bit the dust and need to be replaced.This kit contains everything needed to replace the stock drum rollers with an OEM-like fitment. The rubber feels stronger on these rollers, and the bearings are a tiny bit noisier than OEM, but they roll very smoothly and very consistently. The shape and size are identical to OEM, and the only real difference is the fiber washers. In my install, I used the new fiber washers in the back where my originals were pretty much dissolved, and purchased some others to use in the front instead of the goofy flat bendy washers. The new clamps in this kit are way better than the OEM ones, and the thickness of the fiber washers is also greater than OEM. The replacement shafts are basically identical, with these having maybe an extra .5mm to 1mm length, which actually made installing extra fiber washers a breeze.My Maytag Neptune dryer has not been serviced properly prior to my owning it, and it still had its original drum rollers. Only one fiber washer was used on each side and only one goofy metal washer on each side. It sounds like some other models that other reviewers have mentioned contain two fiber washers instead, but this kit fit my machine perfectly and needed no extra parts. I only chose to use fiber washers the whole way around due to some bad experiences with heat, metal washers, and bearings in RC cars.

Started getting an annoying squeak from the dryer, investigated and found the rollers were dry and breaking down. Put some bearing grease on the sleeves and let er rip. Got another 3 months out of it before it came back. Found these under $20 figured it was a no brainer. Just sucked having to take dryer allllllllll the way apart again.I've had this installed for a week or so about 20 loads- does the trick.I still put some high temp wheel bearing grease on the sleeves just for S and G. Time will tell if these will last as long as the oem maytag ones.

Rollers and other parts worked great and were easy to install. However, the belt wasn’t correct for my Maytag LDE8414ACE dryer. The provided belt is about 6 inches too short. The correct belt for my dryer is Maytag part 3-12959. Also, the belt from Maytag had instructions that were useful (flat side to drum and a diagram on how to route it).

My dryer started squealing pretty bad and I feared for the worst. 4 screws out and the dryer came apart. The culprit was a seized roller. This part fit perfectly and returned the dryer to normal quiet operation.

The installation was fine, and the fit seemed perfect. After just 7 months, I started hearing it rumble again. I didn't think it was the 'brand new' rollers I just installed, so I prepared to replace the felt pads I knew were old and needing replaced. I finally got into it, and realized that the felt pads were completely torn apart because one of the rollers had completely failed. When I lifted the drum, the roller fell off the bearing stud. The other bearing is still attached, but in bad condition. It will fail in less than a month.These lasted about 6-7 months. Yes, I lubricated the stud with high temperature bearing grease.

They seem to be a good fit and were quick to install - the axles are slightly longer than the ones I replaced, which makes it much easier to install the c-clips. However one of the roller wheels was lopsided and the drum isn't quite rotating freely. It's fine for now but I don't expect it to be a long-term fix.

This repair was not difficult. The parts were exactly what I needed, perfect fit, to stop the dryer from sounding like small animals were being torn asunder from the old rusty rollers. We can again dry laundry at night when we are trying to sleep.
