Replacement Earpad Ear Cushion Pads for Sony MDR-XB500 Headphones

These replacements are exactly like the original cushions on my headphones. They look the same, feel the same, and act the same as well as being easy to put on the headphones. I just wish they would work with other headphones because they are very comfortable.

Once I figured out how to install these replacement ear pads they have been great. They are better than the original pads (which started peeling off). HINT: Don't try to pull the elastic around to get them on. They twist on once you align the parts (don't know what to call them). They are VERY easy to get on once you figure that out. I didn't get any instructions. I think I checked YouTube for help. These are very comfortable and the sound is equal or better to original pads. I gave 4 stars because of lack of instructions (I spent a lot of unnecessary time fighting with them before I figured out the correct way to install).

Easy to install. Comfortable. Or you could buy a new set of headphones. My headphones work fine. I just needed new pads. Back to listening.

Bought the replacement pads for MDR-XB700. They were too small and the stitching was poor.The faux leather felt as good as the original pads, and the cushioning was a memory foam and firmer than the original pads, which probably would have been an upgrade if the sizing and stitching issues were not dealbreakers.

I bought pads from MEKOKO for MDR-XB400. These are exactly like the originals. How to install:1. Pull off the old pads, and make sure you get all the tape that attaches the pads.2. Pell the paper off the two-sided tape on one of the new pads.3. Stick the new pad on the headphone, centered in the speaker frame.4. Repeat for the other pad.There are three screws, but to replace pads on the MDR-XB400 you do not need to unscrew them to install these pads.

They were easy to replace, fit comfortably, and work fine.

The media could not be loaded.  This product advertises that it fits "Replacement Earpad Ear Cushion Pads for Sony MDR-XB400 Headphones". It does NOT. The earopads are larger than the space on Sony MDR-XB400 headphones. I measured them with a ruler comparing the orignals to these earopads. This is falsely advertised - don't buy these!

It seems well made, I compared to the original earpad and did not find any difference. They look like from same manufacture. Let see how long it lasts.

J'ai remplacé les coussins originaux sur mes Sony MDR-XB500 avec ce produit. L'installation est assez simple mais demande de la délicatesse pour retirer les petites vis à l'intérieur des oreillettes.Ces coussins sont un bon remplacement mais sont moins mous que les originaux. On sent qu'ils ont un intérieur en mousse moins flexible que les originaux. Peut-être qu'à l'usure ils deviendront plus malléables, c'est à voir.Somme toute c'est un bon produit de remplacement, vu l'âge des écouteurs je doute qu'on puisse trouver bien mieux sur le marché.
