Very Very Nice!
As is the case with most things, I was skeptical about this product. When I purchased mine, there wasn't much information to be found about it. I didn't know how long the battery would last or whether you could even turn it off once it was on. Some of the info I found was contradictory even. I took a chance and ordered the 5.12" - it's about the size of a large grapefruit and perfect in my opinion as far as the size goes. Luckily, I am very happy with the product. Here is the info I would have liked to have known before I purchased it. You control it by touching the metal sleeve where you plug in the charger plug. My package came with a USB cable AND a charger plug. It is recommended you fully charge the product which took about 6 hours. When you plug in the charger cable, a red light appears next to the charging port. When that light goes out, it is charged. Don't leave it plugged in for long periods of time. Briefly touching the metal sleeve around the charging port turns it on. Briefly touch it again to change from white to soft yellow. Briefly touch it again and it will turn off. When you turn it on, either on the white or the soft yellow, if you put your finger on the metal charging port sleeve and hold it, it will either fade to the brightest setting, or fade to the dimmest setting depending on the status of the light when you turn it on. At first, I set it at about the middle of the range of brightness but when I turned all the lights out in the room at night, it was too bright, so I reduced it to almost the lowest light setting. You might like it brighter. Like I said, I charged it completely when I first received it. That was over 3 weeks ago, and I haven't had to charge it yet since then. I turn it on when I go to bed and turn it off when I get up - about 8 hours of usage per day and a single charge has lasted over 3 weeks with the brightness setting almost at it's lowest point. I assume if you left it set at the halfway point, the battery might not last as long. The product is very light weight, made from a soft plastic, but when it is on at night, it is stunning to look at. I am very happy with the purchase and very pleased at how long a charged battery lasts. I've recommended it to a couple friends.

Perfect
This lamp was perfect. It is incredible how realistic it looks when in a dark room. Has 2 different light settings(led and a warmer/yellow light). With varying brightness settings for each. Touch activated for power and light settings via a small sensor on the bottom. I bought the larger version with the wooden base, and it is slightly larger than a small basketball. Bought it as a gift and almost kept it myself.

Fits my photography purposes
Super awesome! Exactly as described and the perfect prop for photography also provides nice ambient lighting.

Expensive, but the best.
I tried six others.I wanted to get the best one possible because I'm gifting to an astronomer. This one (I have the 3.94 inch) was the best. Good print quality & good color of lights. Where they cut the bottom to add the light isn't as obvious as it was on the others. Even the wooden base was the best quality.I did dock a star because of the price. It was the most expensive of all the others I tried. But, then again, you get what you pay for.

Very pretty, great gift (and I kept one), but 3 out of 5 that I bought were defective!
I really loved the first one I bought and promptly bought 4 more as gifts. They were all 5" diameter moons. (Tried a bigger one but it's not as cute).Pros: I like the two color options, white and orangy white, and that one can change the intensity. It's pretty. I love that they printed it to have light and dark simply because of absorption by the printing (so it is obviously not topographically accurate, but it looks right). Just a cute, neat idea, makes me smile.Gorgeous packaging too. Makes a lovely gift.Cons: wish it had a longer battery life; light is off while charging :(And worst of all:3 of the 5 total I bought were defective! One had a touch sensor that didn't work at all.The second had the jack poorly attached to the moon so when I plugged it in to charge, it fell into the moon and is now happily rattling inside there, alight. And a third had a printing defect that sticks out a bit, like a tiny sharp mountain that doesn't exist on the mood. (I don't mean the 3d printing mess at the poles - that's understandable from the way it's printing a sphere in layers and they obviously don't have the highest resolution printer!). It's white LED is much warmer than the first one I bought, which I think is nicer, but it's significantly different, meaning quality control sucks or that they buy cheap LEDs the manufacturer of which has crappy quality control. This one j couldn't return (too late by the time I opened it to test before giving as a gift), but the defect is small so that's ok.Overpriced for something with such crappy quality control, but I'm going to take a risk and buy a few more to replace the defective ones I'm returning.

Low rating- touch sensor stopped working.
It's super cool. Seriously it looks like the moon and glows super bright, the packaging and stand were also cool and unique- but the touch sensor ring failed really quickly. It had a little give every time I plugged it in, and I don't know if it was just a one-off faulty product or what, but around a month of periodic use it became really difficult to use. Almost like the sensor lost a significant amount of sensitivity. As said though, it's super cool. I was impressed with the design otherwise, I could have just had the misfortune of getting a faulty one.

PERFECT
I wasn't sure how something could look just like the moon, but I LOVE THIS so much! I got the smallest size and read reviews on how it wasn't rechargeable, but instead battery operated. Turns out it is rechargeable, maybe the bigger sizes are not. I held it in my hand for the first time and instantly fell in love with this little moon. The wooden stand in perfect, packaging was great, and I like how it has two different light settings along with dimming options. It is touch-activated, so when you touch the spot at the bottom in turns on and if you hold your finger there it will get brighter or dimmer. You have to play around with it a little to get the hang of it. I am definitely recommending this to everyone!!
