Damminix 27213 Tick Tube, 6-Pack

I have used this product last year after having ticks in my back yard and being bit twice in May the year before. This year I did not even see a tick at all! I don't know if it was because we were in "drought status" or if the tubes worked. All I know is the birds and animals that visit my backyard looked healthier this year too. I bought the tubes again and spread them around this fall.

We use these along the perimeter of our property. They have worked well in the past but this year the ticks have been bad and they don't seem as effective.

I moved to a high tick population area and my neighbor recommended this product. I placed them all around the yard and....I still have a lot of ticks. Of course this is my first spring here so I have nothing to compare it to. Just don't expect any miracles.

We live in an area with a lot of deer and a lot of woods and ticks were always finding their way onto us and our dogs. We didn't want to use broad spectrum pesticides that would kill everything and spraying the lawn for ticks is a waste as they live in the leaf matter, not the grass. A neighbor told us about these and while I was skeptical I purchased them figuring they were worth a try. The premise is simple enough, stop the ticks when they are feeding on mice or chipmunks. Well the first year we used them we noticed less ticks. The second year we went from getting at least a tick or two a week off us or the dogs to maybe one a month in the heaviest part of the season. This is our third year using them and as long as I live where I do, I'll have them out as we haven't seen a tick yet this year. They are easy to use, don't smell and they are biodegradable since they are made from cardboard. Ingenious product!

No ticks but we do get our yard sprayed every 3 weeks. This was a back up so not sure if it works

We still have ticks but barely started using it, I will repost in a couple of months with an update

How can you really know if this product works? I'll probably make my own for the fall since its easy enough.
