Q: What happened to these picks? I’ve been using these forever and I just order 2 packs and they came feeling, looking and sounding completely different.

Thats a good question! I also ordered and they seem smaller than what I originally used and they are much harder....j actually wanted a thin to medium pick but these are hard. Dunlop made in China???

On the Dunlop site the actual name of the pick is "MAX-GRIP® JAZZ III CARBON FIBER GUITAR PICK" so it would certainly appear to be carbon fiber.

Q: do they work on acoustic guitars?

Yes. It's a guitar pick. Now typically it's for electric guitars because its a heavypick. Most players use heavy picks for electric and lighter picks for acoustic. It's an individual choice.
