It does what they said that it would do.

I like this product, you can't beat the price, but when locking down the tool holder the tool moves. It is hard to get the tool back to the same place. Otherwise it is very nice and you get a great set of options with it.

This works and IF this is all the tool holders you want it is for you, IF you think you'd ever want more tool holders look elsewhere, they are smaller than OXA and the seller doesn't list any spares if you'd want them. The tool post and holders are aluminum, so chatter is a possibility. If you use 1/4" tools I would use shims in the holders to center the piston better on the tool post. It comes with some extra screws for the tool holders and 2 different mounting bolts, if you need the smaller bolt I make a new center sleeve to help tighten up the slop. The packaging is top notch, cardboard box with sectioned foam to separate everything. The height adjusters are brass with a jam nut, the top lever is nicer than some I've seen, nice, knurled aluminum instead of plastic. I would give it more stars IF they made it easier to have extra tool holders, the advantage to QCTPs are having multiples ready to go and they make that hard to do. I took one with me to a steel supplier and was able to pick up some aluminum that was close and then I was able to mill out the dovetail and recess, I made them a little bigger to better retain my tools. It comes with one for cutoff, one for boring and 2 for turning tools, a 2 or 4 pack of tool holders would be a nice upgrade, I made 5 and would probably buy some spares. This is not a wedge style tool post, it is a piston style, still locks up tight but not as tight as a wedge style, turns aluminum and plastic well and will stand up to steel with lighter cuts.

The precision fit of the pieces that made up this quick change post were very poor, making for poor alignment and tool being securely held during cuts. The best part was the price... but unfortunately I returned the item for one of better quality... and of course I paid more, but it’s worth it if you are trying to turn out consistent cuts.

Very good quality. Not typical at all of cheap Chinese products. Very good fit and finish. It's all aluminum but it's also not made for and industrial machine. I would recommend this product.

Purchased this for an Emco compact5 that I just acquired. As mentioned in other reviews, the mount needs some fabrication which I was ready for, however, the fit and finish is lousy. The dovetails from post to tool holder is almost 1/8 inch and locking sleeve has soo much slop, it barely snugs the holders in place. I'm making it work but I wish I had the extra hundred bucks for the steel wedge type because I'm into this thing almost 2 days labor to make it justified mentally. Amazon made it possible to learn a lesson without going broke.

Works as described. Remember it it aluminum. You can take big or hard cuts with it. Slow and easy and it will work fine.

Gets you going with quick change tool post but not that great aluminium, tightening lever bent and pulled out of hole had to rebore and thread in new steel lever but it is now loosening and pulling out of aluminium
