This kit will change your life!! I am never going back to the traditional methods of cleaning ears. Candles, qtips, and whatever else you’re using… throw it away. Unless, you aren’t a health/clean freak and minimal hygiene is sufficient for you.The EarCam isn’t so much of a cleaning device. It does come with an attachment for cleaning, however, I really prefer the ear picks that come in the kit. They’re very easy to use and are extremely effective at cleaning your ears. Some of them actually pretty great as well. Who would’ve thought? Where the EarCam comes in for me is: before cleaning to locate the wax (you’ll find it in places where you didn’t expect it before) and after cleaning to make sure that my ears are as clean as they can possibly be.I’ve gone to a doc before to get my ears cleaned. Paid a lot of money and I’m pretty sure I did a better job myself using this kit than the doctor did at his office. In other words, if you aren’t sure about purchasing this product… don’t think twice. Definitely worth every penny.

The good news was it was easy to use the included WiFi adapter and the YCamera app on my iPhone 6S to view the live image. The problem was that the focal point of the camera is about 2cm from the wand tip. So unless you hold it that far from your ear you won't see much. I can't see how this device would be of much use for this application. My feeling is that this camera was designed for some other purpose but was bundled with some ear scraping tools and rebranded as an otoscope. The focal point really needs to be about 2-5 mm from the tip so it's "closer to the action". Too bad it doesn't come with a clip-on lens adapter. Otherwise it's a nice unit and could be used for other purposes.

i thought this was going to be a gimicky thing but my wife wanted to try it outso heres my 2 cents on this little endoscopethis really is just an endoscope but has properly designed attachments, including ear spoons in plastic to help clean your ears.so there are 2 things to talk about:1. connecting it through phone (android) and PC is actually pretty easya) for windows PC (win 10), i merely plugged it into my computer and opened up the built-in windows "Camera" app and it just works outright, no additional drivers installation was needed since it is a generic USB camera deviceb) after having charged up the wifi dongle, i used it on my Pixel 3A with the YCamera app the manual suggested I installit was pretty simple, login into the wifi signal (no password needed) and open the app, hit start and voila, i can see my own ear cannals via my phone2. for cleaning the ear canals:it was actually easy and im surprised at the number of ear picks/spoons they've included in the kitthere are 6 metal cleaners, way more than what I know to do with and also attachments that goes onto the camera so you can clean it directlynow granted the camera isnt the smallest so having an attachment might make it even harder to fit small children's ears but that's why they've must have included the additional toolsthis is good knowing where theres excess wax and where the ear drum is so theres knowledge of where the threshold is and when to stopthis is much safer than cleaning the ear without a camera!best of all, ive cleaned the tool and used it to take pictures of my kid's teeth in hard to reach places so he can see that he still has more brushing to do and knows where to pay more attention!~once again, my wife has proven that spending money on amazon is sometimes a good thing...

Great for adults, hard to use with small ones as the doesn't fit as far in and the light is bright, but still limited. However, for the price I was amazed how well it functioned.I bought it to find out what was wrong with my daughter and was ecstatic when I did writing this on Facebook: 4 dr. Visits, 2 antibiotics & 1 referral to EN&T with no actual phone call yet to set up an appointment that wouldn't take place for several weeks and this mama bear is pissed!!!!I ordered my own damn otoscope and tools, burrito baby wrapped her and look what I found in her nose after approx 7 weeks of foul smell!F-You health care system!!!I was able see a half inch piece of foam she had lodged far up her nose.

First of all, I just really like that this device is sold by an American company. The user manual and everything else is in English which may not seem like a big deal but it is. I’ve tried two other brands of that have similar items and had to return them because I couldn’t understand a thing on the user manual which resulted in me not being able to connect and use the device.As for the actual product – it’s great. The camera shows exactly what I need to see. I’m able to see the wax and then use the ear picks to clean everything up. Once I’m done cleaning my ears, I can go back and double check that my ears are 100% clean using the camera.The ear picks and the camera complement each other very well. I wouldn’t use one without the other. When you have the option of using both, it’d be silly not to.

I’ve been suffering from ear wax blockage for a while now and can finally say that I’ve found the tool that takes care of it! As we all know (I’m assuming you do know, since you are looking for this type of product) traditional Q-tips just stuff the wax further down the ear canal. Very little is actually removed. This product, however, is not only more effective at removing it, but also allows you to make sure that you’ve removed ALL the ear wax you had. My hearing has been greatly improved since I started using the earcam and the ear picks. And it’s just nice to know for sure that my ears are as clean as they can be. Would recommend it to anyone who has any kind of ear wax issue or just wants to have clean ears!
