Very disappointed with this item. Not at all as advertised . First there is no chain which is pictured to keep the lid from opening all the way . Second the lid opens all the way to 85 degrees from it’s closed position revealing the little tiger head and about 4 inches of no body beneath it . The lid does not open and slam close rapidly like in the video . It doesn’t open just a little to just barely reveal the little tiger head as if he is peaking out instead the lid opens all the way up vertically revealing all the inner workings and the glued head to the underside of the lid .Just very disappointed .Do yourself a favor spend the extra money and buy the $47.00 one which is a different brand altogether . Wish Injad done my research before purchasing this pos.

This little "useless box" is perfect. Does exactly what it's supposed to do right out of the box. Read many reviews that had negative comments and I just want to say you get what you pay for. Box is sturdy and attractive for the price. No, it's not a hardwood family heirloom, but IS absolutely as advertised, and with care will last a long time. It is wood construction, and preforms as designed. No Complaints, very satisfied with purchase. Would recommend to anyone looking for a functional, novelty gift or conversation piece.

I wish I could give negative stars for this thing. Clearly made in the cheapest fashion possible. Arrived broken and absolutely useless. I know this is a cheaper priced version of this, but I bought it for a simple gag gift and thought this model would fit the bill. I was wrong. There may not be a more poorly constructed item on Amazon. Do not waste your time.

The useless box works fine, not too fast as other reviewers mentioned. I'm giving 3 stars as the product image when I made the purchase (it's since been corrected) depicted an unlabeled box that was painted pink. Instead, I rec'd a plain, wooden box with "Useless Box" embossed on it. This was a gift, and I didn't want the surprise ruined by the embossing. After scraping off the lettering and oiling the "wound", I can give it as the gift I intended it to be.

Arrived on time. Looked great. Put batteries in. Turned it on. Arm came out.... but didn't have enough strength to turn it off. Looks like the switch is too tough for the arm/motor to turn off.

A fun trinket for an office or dorm room or anywhere, my husband put it out on a side table and when people came over at the holidays inevitably it would get switched and the laughs always followed. Definitely a great entertaining item.

This has to be plugged into the usb to work. It is not a "charging" cord. It would be better if it was battery operated or cord be charged and used without the cord. Returned it.
