I'm always skeptical of buying inexpensive wigs off Amazon. I had my doubts when I ordered this, but kept my hopes up. I ordered the Black-Brown wig to wear with my Egyptian Goddess Halloween costume.Item arrived the day before Halloween, was packaged well, and included some cute accessories and a wig cap. I'm definitely keeping the wig cap and comb that were included. Everything else is just fluff for me, but kind of them to include.When I opened this wig, it was WAY better than I had imagined. It was quite thick, overall the length was quite consistent, and the hair was soft and easy to brush out and it fits well over my head.A couple cons for me, I had trouble getting the hooks into the holes to secure it to my head (but I don't wear wigs often, so it could just be a learning curve), and it shed quite a bit any time I went to comb it out.When I posted pictures to show my friends, I had a bunch who thought I totally changed my hair, and kept asking if it was real or not. The black-brown does not look super plasticy or fake, it sits pretty well on the head, and is fairly comfortable for extended wear. I'd highly recommend (at least this color), and I want to purchase more colors to see if they all match this quality!

Not a good quality! sheds a lot, does not look natural, does not cover your own hair... I had to give it to my friend's kid just so she could play with it

I’m writing this review to help others who are finding themselves in the tough spot to explore wigs out of necessity. Since wigs do not always match the product descriptions, unfortunately, finding good and budget-friendly wigs is a challenge. I hope this review is helpful to anyone in this boat!First, color. The dark brown is nearly identical to both the product photos and real life. It is a dark brown with a small hint of a deep reddish-brown cast in sunlight - just like real dark brown hair. If you are looking for a rich brunette without brassiness, this is for you. When I had hair, I was frequently using blue shampoo/conditioner to get rid of brass so the last thing I wanted was a brassy brown wig. This wig color-wise is excellent in this regard. No brass.Second, the hair-feel. This wig feels like healthy human hair. It is so silky but not at all fake-shiny-plastic like cheap costume wigs. Which is amazing considering it is the least expensive wig I own. It is a joy to absentmindedly push a lock of this wig hair behind my ear because it so closely mimics the experience of having hair again. This wig also moves/swings like real, healthy hair. It’s amazing in this regard. As for shedding, after the initial shake-out and run-through with a wide-tooth comb the wig did not shed at all.Third, the wig-construction. I use a cap under my wigs to protect my scalp, so I cannot speak to the experience of this wig in terms of direct skin contact. I can, however, confirm that the wig construction is solid and well-made. I’m not worried about this wig falling apart with daily use. The wig does not feel thin at all BUT you should know that it is thin enough that pulling sections of it back into a new style is not the best idea. Running your hands through it will not expose the wig’s construction but standing in front of an industrial fan or attempting a half-up/half-down style will. For me, I don’t care about this because I love the bob style of this wig and when worn in this style it is definitely thick enough to conceal its construction while moving and laying perfectly. As for sizing, I have a small-medium head and it fits great. Finally, the scalp/part looks realistic and lays perfectly BUT you will need to use a product to alter the color/tone (see below) if you are likewise melanated.Fourth, alterations needed and custom styling. Thankfully the bangs arrived too long. I say thankfully because too-long bands means the wig-wearer has the freedom to customize the bangs to their face shape. I used thinning shears to trim the bangs, and I used my regular hair scissors to cut the sides at an angle, so that when I push the hair behind my ears there is still a good amount of face-framing. If you are not comfortable cutting your wig yourself I totally get it! In this case I’d recommend taking the wig to a salon for help, and if that’s not an option then you’ll find a plethora of tutorials on YouTube that will help you. If you’re opting for the latter route, just go slow and cut a tiny bit at a time :) You should feel amazing in your wig, and this wig affords you the freedom to customize it. As for heat-styling, I had zero issues using my hair straightener on its lowest setting to gently shape the bangs so that they arced in a natural shape around my face. No funky smell, just soft and styled hair that held without the use of any additional products. As for the scalp/part- it is a very pale color, unfortunately, and is the reason this is a 4-star review and not a 5-star review. I used brown eyeshadow to correct this- brushed it on and worked it in with my fingers. Works like a charm and lasts between washings for me. It is a pain though, and I do wish more wigs at least started with a neutral-color scalp or offered a spectrum of scalp tones to choose from in order to serve a diverse customer base.Finally, after-care. A gentle wash with baby shampoo, a post-wash spritz with a wig-specific leave-in conditioner, and a gentle comb-through with a wide-tooth comb did the job just fine and resulted in a clean wig in the initial style. I do use a vented wig-form to store and dry my wigs, which I think helps. It held its form beautifully and did not shed during any of the cleaning routine. Please note: YMMV if you use a lot of hair products. Because this wig was so wonderfully made, I do not need to use any additional hair products with it like pomade, hairspray, or wax. Just the wig-detangler and it’s good to go. So I can’t speak to now it performs with/after additional hair products.BONUS: this wig does not have a Velma-from-Scooby-Doo vibe. If that’s what you want, you may want to look elsewhere. This wig’s bob style is chic. It can be dressed up or down, depending on accessories (head bands, hair clips, earrings, your outfit, etc.).Wishing you the best on your wig journey.

There’s nothing I dislike about this wig. My natural hair is extremely thick and down to my waist, this wig covers it easily and isn’t tight in the slightest. It’s comfortable, easy to put on and comfortable all day. I tested it for several days prior to reviewing and feel confident saying so. Other wigs give me a headache and I can’t wear them for more than a few hours. It is shiny and soft and I anticipate it’ll last awhile. The comfort level makes me want to seek out others from this brand.

Arrived on time and the quality of the wig is excellent, considering the price point. I bought this for my wig obsessed 16 year old. It looks very much like real hair, she says it’s comfortable, and it is easy to brush with a wig brush.I will be ordering more wigs from this company for sure.
