A surprise hit.
My 8 yr old daughter absolutely loves this toy. She gave it a bubble bath, rinsed it and we brushed and blew dry it together. It did take a long time to dry it and brush it. And it’s still pretty scraggly, but she loves it just the same. She’s already asking for a pink friend for it.

My 6 year old daughter has 50 stuffed animals. She received a Scruff-A-Luvs from my mom for her birthday about a month ago. She had to wash it the instant we got home. we received a puppy. She sits and brushes it, she sleeps with it every night, she puts clips in its hair, it has had more than that first bath. She loves that she "rescued it" . I love that SHE loves that she helped a unfortunate animal. I think it shows her heart of compassion and a bond for her little fluffy companion.

Best gift for little girls!
You’ll get to choose the color of your pet but the species will be a secret kept after lots of washing,She quickly got excited as she saw a little kitty take shape under all the soap and water. We dried and dried with a hair dryer and brushed and brushed with the cute little head shaped brush. It literally took hours to complete our rescue adventure but she loved it. It was lots of fun to see the process and the surprise. It’s a great gift idea for a younger kid.

Finally a stuffed animals that can get wet
Our kitty turned out very cute and was lots of fun. I used a fine tooth comb to brush it out and trimmed up the hair around its nose. Tip for parents, if your kid is young enough, we got away with washing our kitty, towel drying, blow drying for a few minutes, then telling our daughter kitty was so tired from his big day that he needed a nap in a dark place. What better place than the clothes dryer for a half hour to fully dry and fluff out our kitty
