You get exactly what you see in the picture. It has a 50g weight at the bottom that cannot be removed from the hook, 9 - 20g removable disks, 1 - 10g removable disk, and 2 - 5g removable disks. The little plastic case it came in was already partially broke when I received it, but I'm pretty sure it was caused by the flimsy envelope it was shipped in. I had to contact Amazon support, because the first time I received this item, I didn't actually receive the item due to the fact that it had ripped the envelope and fell out of it somewhere in transit. My UPS deliver didn't bother to check the fact that he left a ripped and empty package at my door....I do recommend this product if you are looking for some hanging masses for a science experiment or lab.

Worked great for science project, solid material doesn't chip or dent when dropped (many times), easy to slide on and off yet still held in place when dangled from a wobbly string. Used a part of a weight and dolly system to measure drag on hull designs thru water.

This are easy to use. The weights seem to be highly accurate. If this fits your requirement as far a the range of weights goes then it should be perfect for you. The plastic storage box it comes in is just a joke. The two halves will not stay together so it's pointless. And you need something to put it in as these weights are just loose. I did not count off for that because no mention of a box was made.

This is a nice weight set. Well made. Very accurate for most experiments and tests. Brass castings are good quality.

We got this for the son's science fair project. Good quality, good price. It comes with a plastic case to keep them all nicely.
