Filled with 9 Bags Vigaro 0.8 cu ft. Rubber Mulch
OK, I bought the bag, Unfilled. I like a heavy 'Heavy Bag" and tend to go with Rubber Mulch. In this case Vigoro Rubber Mulch (reddish or brown your choice). The weight is somewhere from 150-200Lbs. I really don't know (ill update this with exact weight). I mounted it with an RDX bar mount that had 4 large bolts into a beam. I would NOT do anything less as this weighs a lot! Packing is literally just filling when it comes to mulch. I like the feel and weight. Good solid thud, yet forgiving on the hands. Construction is great, seems holding fine and I doubt Ill see anything crop up. If I did it would be a freak issue IMHO and I would go fix it myself adding re-inforcement. So yeah 9 bags at 0.8 cu ft per bag was plenty to top it off with a nice rounded top and the zipper holds great. A D ring on the bottom would be cool, I think you can ask for one, but I have NO issues without. I like the bag a lot. Highly recommend! UPDATE: As its nearly impossible to stand a 6ft bag (noodle) on a scale and I dont have a hanging scale the best I could do for weight is go down and weigh the bags. Out of the 10 bags I bought I had an average of 19.7lbs per bag x 8 bags came in just under 160Lbs not counting the bag itself. Also there is a comment made by another buyer who fit 9 bags of mulch in the bag. Its possible, I filled my bag on the ground, he filled it hanging! I’m months in and VERY happy, what’s better is that I’m moving soon to the lower 48 from Alaska and what’s better than dumping my bag and making the house more beautiful for sale and refilling the bag when I get to our new home. its a Win/Win! Cheers!

Know Where to Find Your Stuffing
Aye yai yai. I got bold and ignored all of the horror stories about filling this thing. You may be better off purchasing the filled bag and paying for the shipping. Great bag though overall! I'm taking a star for the narrow opening at the top: Outslayer has got to redesign that if they're going to send unfilled bags to people, stuffing this thing wasn't the easiest.First, I tried to use Blow-in insulation (I saw it recommended a few places online). The crud does not compact AT ALL. Fully stuffed, with a 12.6 lb pvc pipe full of sand inside, the bag got up to 64 lbs. Junk. Not to mention its messy, dusty, slices your fingers (fiberglass in the insulation) and you'll be sneezing dust for hours (get a mask, rookie). So bail on that idea. And yes, I stuffed it very hard (bought a tamper from Home Depot. With the insulation, tamper, and pvc i've already spent like 70-80 bucks)Moved on to cloth, the go-to recommended stuffing. Except good luck finding it if you're in a decently progressive city: Every thrift store in Kansas City has no "trash" piles, "recyclable" piles, nothing to give for free or to buy in bulk on the cheap. I'm not paying a dollar a shirt to fill a 150 lb bag. Started getting clothes from friends, but few people had much to give (I guess people donate regularly). Thank God I started working out at a new MMA gym, one of the trainers sold me a really old and worn out bag for $20 and I moved the stuffing over to the new bag.All in all, a few weeks of ridiculous work to stuff the darn thing. Spent close to $100, returned the tamper and some of the still packaged insulation for $45. Still spent money to fill it, next time I pay for the ridiculous shipping unless I know of some stuffing ahead of time. Took a star off for the small opening Outslayer, though thankfully the zipper is much higher quality than my last 2 Everlast bags.

Best Damn Bag I've Ever Used For Kicking or Punching - GET ONE
Love this BAG!!! I do about 10 rounds of kickboxing on this banana bag at least 4 times per week. I hit and kick that bag pretty hard. Hard enough to have my neighbor get a little ticked off regularly. After at least a year of this, the bag looks like it will last quite a bit longer. The label is no longer visible because of the beatings that I administer to it but the black leather still looks great. Cleanup is a simple wet towel and a spray of Lysol. It took a while to fill that bag with loose cloth. I'll tell you what. If you want to get better at boxing or kickboxing, get one of these and practice on it a lot. Your strikes will get WAY stronger, faster, and more accurate. My striking endurance has gone way up as well. As I said, this bag is my most important piece of training equipment that I have. It is set up in my office/spare bedroom and gets a LOT of use.

Good bag for the money.
I've had a number of thai bags in the past, of varying quality. My most recent bag finally gave out after only 2 years (a fighting sports bag, which I will never buy again). So far this bag is awesome. It's well built, and while it's not leather, the vinyl has a 10 year warranty, which I plan to put to the test.I definitely prefer unfilled bags, as bags that come filled can have some horrible fillings - I've found nails and garbage in the "fighting sports" bag.Filling the bag wasn't too bad. It took about an hour of labor. We filled it with old clothes and rags and stuffed it in with a bat.The zipper on top held together well during the filling process. The D-rings at the top work well, and the stitching on the straps look pretty good.Time will tell.

This bag is amazing. It's filled AND suspended with 240lbs.
I feel the bag with rice. I've had about 320lbs of rice init, but not suspended. It's now suspended with about 240lbs of rice. This bag will last a lifetime if you use it the way it's recommended (with maximum weight filler). And I'm sure this bag will last my lifetime even with 100lbs over the limit.

Great bag, terrible straps
OK so for starts, the bag itself is A+. I've been kicking the snot out of this thing for like 8 months and there's not a stitch out of place. The top-load design is not ideal, but I found it fine. I do repack it every couple months when it gets squishy at the top, but hey, that's basically every bag ever.HOWEVER the straps are an abomination and basically ruin this thing. Firstly, they're really long. The bag is already long, so with the mandatory 10 inch straps you're gonna have a fun time mounting this in a low-ceiling room (like my basement).Next up is the rings. Mine bent after maybe three months of usage. Fine, replaced them with closable rings from home depot, easy work.Next up the straps begin to rip. They let go. OK fine, I'll just buy a riveting kit and put my own rivets in. They pull through the nylon strap like wet tissue paper IMMEDIATELY.So now I've got this (admittedly nice) bag, with no f'n way to hang it. Why, why WHYYYY couldn't they just have woven some rings into the bag so you could mount with your own (easy replaceable) hardware when you broke it? Sucks.

Great bag, you are going to need a lot of material to fill it but it's worth it. I had purchased the everlast bag originally but returned it because kicking low felt like kicking a brick wall and punching high felt like punching a pillow. This bag feels right wherever you hit it

Great bag. Looks good
Great bag. Looks good, feels durable. My only issue is it doesn't open very much at the top to fill it, and as such is very cumbersome to fill.I filled it with old clothes and sand to get to 90 pounds, but now I want to fill it with rubber pellets and I'm dreading the process.

Awesome Thai Bag!
Awesome Thai bag! This is one of those purchases where I am 100% satisfied. I filled it with old clothes (zippers and buttons removed) and its perfect for me. It's used almost daily and there are zero signs of wear. Its 6' so its long enough to take low kicks which was why I bought it over a traditional heavy bag. If you're on the fence about it, buy this one!

Great material but came in with two three small scratches on it. Tiny scratches but still, would be 5 stars without them. Filling it up took some careful planing and quite some time, but only if you want to do it the best way. I still have to give them a call regarding the 10 year warranty paper, cause I didn't get one.

the zipper to stuff the bag is in a very akward spot, which makes it hard to stuff, and only partly opens. also the straps are too long and are not adjustable. the bag it's self seems to be durable and well made

Solid bag!
Very nice bag. My trainer who was a competitive kick boxer agrees! The opening is narrow but no big deal. Nice to have the hanging straps already attached.

Outslayer heavy bags are built to last. It's my second Outslayer bag (made the mistake to sell the other). Just received mine and it's flawless. Can't wait to have it filled.

a great entry level budget bag
a great entry level budget bag. The material is fine and serves the purpose i need. As others have mentioned filling it is a pain (you cant roll it outwards like some of the fairtex/rival ones) but well worth the money saved!

resistencia
Lo utilizo en un GYM y la verdad se siente resistente, creo que durara mas que el anterior que teníamos.

Seem strong and tough, long enough, no place where you can hurt while kicking, a little hard to fill, but its normal due to the length of the bag. Not noisy, no chains...

I am very happy with this product
I purchased this bag in October and finally set it up in February and boy do I regret not doing it earlier. This bag has been nothing but a blast and is top quality, the material is not so rough that you cannot rub elbows/knees against it and seems to be very durable. Oh yea and it comes with a 10 year warranty, I am very happy with this product.

Well made
Has held up very well, no signs of weakening during the months of use.Would be great if it had cords/attachements to steady the bottom portion of the bag.

Love it.
Nice bag. Took 4 large garbage bags full of clothes to fill. Been kicking the piss out of this thing for a few weeks now and it's holding up.
