It is a little bigger than I thought so I had to buy a lot of gifts to fill it up lol. But my girlfriend loved it and that's what matters

It is pretty and I will enjoy using it as a gift box, but like all gift boxes and bags I pick and choose who will get the best ones and I'm not sure how I will rate this one.** Nice color black. I know that sounds crazy but a deep black is different than cheap material black and this is a dark black.** The top is excellent quality. Even though the top is a different material none of the edges lift, it is a finished look."* Easy to put together and made of decent cardboard.** My complaint... because of the way it is wrapped about 2 top part of the lid is not supported like the rest of it making it uneven so it rounded enough to cause a crease in the paper and a bow where when built it does not lay flat. Fortunately I bought it for the future where I can get rid of the bow, but not the crease. This probably will not happen for everyone but for the price I am disappointed. For this reason I'm not sure I will purchase another foldable one, but that's just me.

I love this box! I bought it to put my husbands birthday presents in. It was easy to put together and is very well made. I’ll definitely be buying more in the future.

The box has two round tabs; one that the cord is attached to and one on the side panel that the cord wraps around to close. Well, this box came with no tab on the side panel so I can't close the lid of the box. There's a tiny round indention where a hole and the tab should be attached. I'm guessing they made hundreds of these boxes without the tabs because it didn't just fall off, it was never attached (otherwise there would have been a hole in the box). Anyway, I didn't like the way the top closed anyway....it has odd tabs at the top that make it difficult to get an item out of the box. My advice is to pass on this box. AND the instructions are pictured with a black box so you can't see anything! It's not rocket science but the instructions should have been made with a light colored box.

I used this box to give my wife a gift the night of our wedding. She absolutely loved it and was blown away. It was absolutely gorgeous and easy to assemble. The tie latch took a bit of work to use. She is the type to throw unnecessary things away even to a fault, but this she has kept. A mark on the calendar for the first time in her life that she ever kept the box a gift came in.

This box held multiple smaller wrapped presents. It was perfect. Not a very solid material but it is sturdy enough to support light items.

It’s really a cheap looking box

I got this to put my mom's Mother's Day gifts. I was able to fit several clothing items to surprise her and it was such a cute box, and a decent size at that. Will purchase again.
