I had been considering purchasing one of these type devices for a wee while now and decided to take the plunge last week. I am glad I did as it has been making writing longer pieces of text much easier and I am using it to write this review. The keyboard and case are a perfect fit for the iPad mini2 and it was so easy to set up to work with the instructions being so clear and concise.....the process is very easy, just a button to press and away it goes. The build quality is good and it is nice aesthetically. It's lightweight and is good for holding the tablet in place when watching something, so it's a good stand as well as case. All the spaces for buttons and chargers are in the right places and of a good size to allow easy access, so no need to take it out of case once it's in there. This is a good piece of kit, using it constantly so pleased with purchase. Disclaimer - I received this item for a heavily discounted price for submitting my honest opinions in this review.

Really well made, looks good and simply made my iPad into a small laptop. My only quibble is not having a pound sign only a dollar, would have been good to have a choice. All the other reviews helped me me to make this choice so very valuable. Brilliant and quick delivery, what's more to say.

Excellent build quality. Good, responsive keys that are easy to type on. This case feels very solid and does add some extra weight, but not too much extra size. If you want a simple hinge style laptop format for your iPad then this is the case to go for, although bear in mind you can't fold it back on itself. Paired straight away without problems and has a convenient row of iPad function keys at the top. Also in the box you get a selection of accessories that include: screen protector, key cover and stylus pen.

This is just the tool you need to turn your iPad into a laptop, it connects via Bluetooth with no problems at all. The keyboard needs a three hour charge and can be used constantly with the backlights on for five hours that is substantially more if you do not use the coloured backlights. It is highly responsive and acts just like a laptop would and still keeps the iPad safe while carrying it around.

What a fantastic bit of kit this is. Why didn't I get one before. It's a robust case for my iPad and with a backlit keyboard it's everything I need. The delivery was fantastic, within 24 hours, even the packaging was out of the ordinary. I would recommend this to anybody. The discounted price made this a product well worth having. Thanks

As a touch-typist I find that the iPad screen keyboard is inhibiting when typing more than a few words, and to be honest I did not think a detachable keyboard, because of its limited size, would be much help. However I have to admit this little darling has exceeded my expectations in every way.First of all setup was a doddle - it connected to the iPad's bluetooth with no problem whatsoever, and then I was away. The keyboard touch is lovely and somehow not as cramped as I feared.This is going to be a real boon when travelling and I am well pleased with it.

If you need to do a lot of typing into your iPad and get fed up of the inbuilt keypad then this is ideal for you.The case has a magnetic closure and the keypad is also attached magnetically meaning you can move it bout a bit to suite and it stays put. Easy to pair and once done off you go. Looks good and functions well. Nice case - good value

Included in the box is a black folio case and a removable keyboard. The keyboard is light and looks very tactile with its curved corners and an attractive finish. The case itself has good weight to it, feels durable and looks pretty sleek. It’s really well-designed too as it holds your iPad securely, there’s three viewing angle ridges for the iPad to rest in and the area where you place your keyboard is magnetic so it holds the keyboard firmly in place while you type (and when you put the folio away, you know the keyboard won't slide out).You don’t need batteries for this, just the USB charging cable, which is included in the box. Pairing the keyboard to the iPad is very straightforward and the keyboard works great with my iPad Air. There are some handy LEDs on the keyboard, which stay off for the most part so they won't distract you whilst working. The red light indicates the keyboard is charging (this turns off when fully charged up). There’s an on/off switch and the light turns blue when you switch it on, but this disappears so I think it’s very easy to forget that you haven’t turned the keyboard off, which could obviously drain the battery: best to make a habit of sliding the switch into Off after every use.I am admittedly used to a small keyboard as I use a Mac so everything feels more or less where it should be with this keyboard except for the pound sign which is actually missing. A blue light comes on when Caps Lock is activated, which I find useful as some keyboards don’t have it. The keys are raised so typing is a bit noisy but feels very comfortable, so much so that I would say my typing is just as fast on this, as it is when I’m on my Mac.Overall I really like this keyboard and folio case combo - it looks good, it’s reliable and typing is way faster using the keyboard than the iPad touchscreen. For the price too, it really is outstanding quality and value for money.
