I drank Choc ful 'o nuts for years but their price went up and the cans weren't as full....so I found this little gem here on Amazon. I've been missing out all these years. Kicking Horse Grizzly Claw is the best!! (Even better than their other, "kick ass" flavor). This is quality coffee! It's a strong, full-bodied blend with just a hint of dark chocolate. Every bag of ground or whole beans I've bought have been fresh. Awesome coffee!!

Not the best coffee I have purchased but it is fine for the price.

This is my first time trying the Grizzly Claw dark roast. The flavor exceeded my expecations and the description was accurate- you can definitely taste the dark chocolate without it being sweet. It's also very smooth with a lower acidity. I have an older Keurig Duo and this grind worked perfectly in my machine. There were no brewing instructions on the bag so I had to wing the amount used. I used just about 12 tbs. for an 8 cup pot and it was perfect for me as I prefer it a little strong and bold. This will make an excellent dessert coffee and I can't wait to try it with cheesecake. It's also one that would be great for baking cakes/brownies or using in mixed hot and cold drinks. Can't wait to try this in the whole bean.

It’s okay but not as much flavor and not as strong as “Kick Ass” flavor. If you are looking for a strong, robust flavor, try “kick ass“.

I love a good cup of Joe. I've tried so many brands and flavors over the years that it's become a daunting task to get through all the garbage out there. "Best" this, and "Most Awesome" that. Blah!Kicking Horse Coffee, regardless of your flavor of choice, has been a top notch brand for me every single time. While I have not enjoyed every flavor I've tried from them (which will never happen for anybody), the profiles that match my likes have always been fantastic. I have been a huge fan of the "Kick Ass" flavor for quite some time, but saw this "Grizzly Claw" and decided to give it a try this time. It is very different in flavor, almost like a hot cocoa/coffee blend. I found immediately on my first cup that I cannot use a flavored cream with it. It just doesn't balance out correctly. I can happily drink it straight, and mixing in a little half-n-half also works very well. It won't be my every day drinker, but having variety is what I like anyways and it will get selected often. I just love this company for a lot of reasons, and as my other reviews on their other flavors have shown I only gripe about the randomly inflated pricing at times. I order it one day it's one price, then two weeks later I re-order it and it's 50% more in price. Then another 2 weeks and it's 10% less than before. It's a strange practice to see such differences, but perhaps I just need to subscribe and lock it in. Anyway, I don't care if it's this flavor or any of their other flavors, give them a try if you haven't already. They're great.Oh, almost forgot. Do NOT drink this in the evening unless you want to stay up. I made that mistake my first night with it and was up until 5am. It's got some "kick" to it :)
