Drip Pan Heat Baffle Replacement for Traeger Pellet Smoker Grill, Heat Diffuser BCA012

Heavy gauge stainless. Purchased for my PitBoss Austin XL to eliminate the hot spot right over the burn pot. For the Austin XL you have to fold the "legs" under a bit and then this will fir over the burn pot and under your stock diffuser. Not only is the middle hot spot eliminated, but the temps across the grill from hopper end to stack end are now even within 6 degrees of each other. Well worth the purchase price.

I bought this to replace a bent heat diffuser in my traeger. Actually distributes heat better than the original traeger diffuser.

Helps even out the heat across my Put Boss 820Pro. Once installed it dies cover furepotbdo no flames for reverse searing, but this is not a permanent installation. Had to bend large tabs inward so broiler & sear plate were lower & maintained their proper drainage angle.

This heat diffuser is stainless steel and is less prone to warping like the mild steel original that came with my Traeger. So far, its been working great & has not warped. This diffuser is thinner gauge stainless steel that one I had bought a few years ago for my previous Traeger, but seems to be holding up just fine. I recommend this as good upgrade/replacement for your original diffuser!

Great product for the price. It warped a little on the first use, but still holding steady. Used it to even out heat on a Laredo style PitBoss pellet grill. I even got my dad one for his Austin XL style and he says it’s much better with heat displacement. Food cooks evenly and no hot spot noted.

First time replacing heat diffuser after 12 years so I thought I would go with stainless steel. So nice to have even heat again.
