What I do not like is how difficult it is to get it to set up and record onto SD card. The instructions were written by non-English speakers so it is impossible to decipher. I almost gave up and finally got some directions from other reviews by searching up on how to record using BVCAM. Secondly, the camera cannot see well in low light. So unless you have good lightning, your video is almost black. Thirdly, the clock is automatically set to 24hr format. Even after I change it to 12 hr format, the hour always shows 2 digits. For example: a normal clock shows 8:00, this clock will show you 08:00. It's just weird, so I don't see how it can be a good disguise.Other than that, it does what it does. You can see what's going on at home while you are away. It is small so don't expect the picture to be as clear as the standard home camera.

My brother has been bragging about some wifi security camera that he bought. It sounded interesting, but it was expensive. For much less, I can place the camera on a table facing the front door, and view both live video or looped video. At first I thought I'd have to be within range of my home network, but it works wherever I have internet access. I feel better having an "eye" on our house while we are away, and I feel better that I didn't sink a bunch of money into a security camera.

Dispite several higher degrees of education I found the instructions cumbersome and less than clear. Thus the product was quickly returned. Too bad !

Thought I was ordering a working alarm clock with hidden camera, Guess I didn't read the description carefully enough ! Also set on 12 hour mode should not have the "0" as the beginning number ?

Works well and wasnt terribly hard to get online with my phone and wifi network. Video quality is good and has had no issues

had to be plugged in all the time to work and the camera wouldnt connect to another wifi so you can look at it from other places

The recording on the suggested Sandisk Ultra SDXC 64 gb was scrambled every few seconds. Tried a 32 gb card, same result. Sent an email to service@silleye.com, no reply. Returning item. It is defective, no help from the seller to rectify the issue. They did send me a free replacement. This one works good. The saved video is more like a 480p quality rather than 1080p as advertised. For the price, very good.

This clock/camera works exactly as described! The directions are pretty simple to follow and the clock was ready to use right away! I have Been wanting a clock in my family room for a while now, and now I have an easy to read clock, and keep an eye on my kids while they are playing and to keep watch over my dogs while I am away. It looks like a normal alarm clock so perfect for using in any room. I view video footage on myiphone, which is perfect. The night time video quality is very clear as well.
