Nightlight setting works on our GE
It may depend on your GE model as to whether these light bulbs will still work on both the regular and nightlight setting. I have a GE microwave and needed replacement bulbs because both of ours burned out. I was hesitant based on the reviews because I didn't want to lose the nightlight function, but these still had the best reviews and best price so I took a chance. I'm glad I did. The bulbs are much brighter than the old bulbs and both light settings work perfectly on the microwave. I didn't lose any function with these bulbs.

Works fine on my GE Microwave JVM3160 Circa 2013
These bulbs worked fine on my GE Microwave. I didn't notice the first bulb go out so I didn't realize they both needed to be replaced until the second one went out. On my unit there are 2 lights right and left on the base of the microwave.With these new bulbs both the Bright and Night settings still work. ONLY CAUTION: when unscrewing the original bulbs, both bulbs came our but not the base. With the awkward angle of the unit over the stove I had a heck of a time trying to get the bulb bases out with a needle nose plyers which I finally did after about a half hour of fiddling. BOTTOM LINE: BE CAREFUL WHEN UNSCREWING THE OLD BULBS. AND UNPLUG OR TRIP THE CIRCUIT BREAKER SO YOU DON'T GET A 110 JOLT LIKE I DID WHEN TRYING TO REMOVE THE BULB BASES.

You will lose the “nightlight” setting on your microwave
The bulb physically fits but is not a direct replacement for the ge bulb. My microwave used to have 2 brightness settings, normal and nightlight. Now both are normal brightness and there is no dim/nightlight feature.The bulbs work and fit but are NOT a direct replacement for the ge bulb as noted

Fits my GE over the stove microwave
2 year old over the stove microwave. One of the stove surface lamps burnt out. The original bulb was crap, and the glass part separated from the metal socket while trying to unscrew it. Had to use a needle nose plier to remove old socket. I thought because I turned the light off that was ok. Wrong. Got a wonderful tingly shock. Later looked at owner's manual which says to unplug the unit while doing this. Good advice. Owner's manual also specifies a specific 40W GE lamp, that sells on Amazon for TWENTY dollars for one bulb!!!! Yeah, no. This 3 pack was 15 bucks. Same size as old bulb, fits and works fine. Now to see about longevity.

Bulbs fit and work properly in our GE microwave
These bulbs are a satisfactory replacement for the bulbs in our GE microwave oven. They’re a fraction of the cost of the official GE replacement bulbs. And yes, the dimming feature works for us giving us the same two levels of brightness as before. Time will tell how long they’ll last.

Seemed fine until....
These seemed like a great value. Lights have a nice, warm color. Plenty of light. I bought some of the LED microwave bulbs about a month ago. Week by week they dimmed until there was practically no light. So I purchased these. I don’t know if they’re knock-offs. Maybe. They seemed warm at first but they are incandescent. My wife went into the kitchen this morning and said she could feel the heat coming from under the microwave and they were emitting a “vapor”. Not really Smokey smelling but clearly something not right. Not worth the savings to risk a fire. I’ll find something else. Would not recommend but I might be a little paranoid of house fires.

THEY DON’T DIM AS GE BRAND
These bulbs ARE NOT AN EXACT REPLACEMENT for GE WB36X10003 as they DO NOT DIM. They are no more than an overpriced fish tank light.

Yes, Nightlight Works... Mostly
After reading lots of different reviews about different bulbs, I leaned towards these because they are Amazon's Choice, and, because they get almost 5 stars.They are very, very bright in "normal" mode. They make the range top area so much better now that the light is fully functioning again. I do (like I _think_ others may have mentioned) think they will get pretty hot - but it's all metal around them - and glass under them, so I'm not concerned. (I _just_ installed these so time will tell.)And, yes, using these in my 1999 GE Spacemaker Microwave, Model JVM1650BH05, the Night Light mode works 90% as expected. I would swear there is a slight, ever so slight flicker in Night Light Mode. I'm a little sad about that. But, hey, it's a 20-year-old Microwave - I'm just happy it's coming back together so nicely and it's looking darn sharp sporting its new bulbs (and glass - which I purchased and wrote a separate review on).

Seems equivalent to original. Can't evaluate life claim of 2000 hours until it burns out.

Horrible and over priced
Most definitely not impressed with these bulbs at all. They are over priced and do not work according to their description. Not impressed at all. The bulbs stay on and do not dim or turn offWill be wanting our money back
