This is an amazing, relatively new product with many capabilities for multiple trusted users. The padlock can be unlocked with an application on a Bluetooth device or with fingerprints. You will need a smart phone or other Bluetooth device with CR code reading capability to set it and its application up.The only weakness with this new product is that the user manual that comes with it is inadequate except for only the tech savvy. The company, Kameida, is very aware of this deficiency and is working on an improved manual explaining all the application and Padlock capabilities. Furthermore, I was very impressed with how Kameida worked with me to resolve the situation. They promptly (as in a matter of minutes) answered my many questions via e-mail. In fact, they e-mailed me before I received the product offering assistance.I have two reasons for only 4 stars: 1. I don’t give any product five stars until I’ve used it a year or so to prove its reliability. 2. It took a while to set up because the user manual did not adequately describe set up, application menus, and Padlock LED indications.

This is really what I need. I keep losing keys or forgetting the passwords especially after a period of time not using my other padlocks. This one helps with these issues by allowing me to use my fingerprints. How convenient! To set up this padlock, I need to download a smartphone app, set up an account, connect to the padlock via bluetooth, and then set up my fingerprints. This process takes me around 5-10 minutes. However, after that, I can open this lock with my fingerprints even when my phone is turned off. From now on, I will not be the one who needs to ask the manager at the gym for a bolt cutter.I did not give a 5 star is because of the poor packaging quality. As you can see in the picture I upload, the inner padding around the lock is too big and does not fit the lock well. Therefore the lock was moving around during shipping. The box, lock, and the instruction manual look a little dirty. They need to improve their quality control.Updated: After using this lock for a few days now, it is really easy to use. I decide to change it to a 5 star rating.

This product served me fairly well until just last week (purchased it one year ago) It just died completely, won't take a charge and I had to cut it off my locker at work to gain access. For the $50 I paid for it, I should definitely expect to get more than one year from its use. I sent an email to CS last week and have not yet heard back as to whether they'll stand by it. If I do and they stand by their product, I'll update this review.UPDATE: it’s been a week and I’ve heard nothing back from customer service after sending them an email. They don’t seem very concerned about standing behind this lock. Looks like there’s several other options on Amazon – I would suggest staying away from this company and this lock.

Quick shipping. It looks pretty and neat, but is totally unusable. When I tried to install the control app it was flagged as spyware and cannot be loaded. So I have a $40 paperweight. Not pleased.

I really like it, it is very reassuring to have the gate locked. However, it has rained twice since I bought it and will not work during or after the rain. It's like it gets wet and needs to dry out for a day before it will work again. It says it's for outdoors.

I really love how useful it is to use and so compact.. the lock is well made and it looks amazing. The app is easy to use and anyone with basic phone knowledge can add fingerprints.. that’s so cool.. I’ve added 10 fingerprints in my lock and you can add more..

I bought new and it looked used. Box wasn't sealed and there was no wrap around the black glossy part of the lock. When I looked at it, it was dirty and there was stuff in the crevices.Now getting to the lock... It works perfectly so far. Fingerprint on the lock is fine and the app working. I will say it doesn't work when you use your phone number to register. Email only and it comes in Asian writing. Looks like fraud but all you need from that email is the 4 digit code.Updating feature doesn't work on the app.. not sure if there are updates for the lock or if it's for another item.I'm giving this 4 cause it was used. Don't really care though cause it's going in my garage... Just saying it should be new if I buy newUPDATE... It only works if you have the phone with you. I tried many times without and nothing. You put your fingerprint and it will blink red. Once you open the app, it syncs the lock and app and then you can use your fingerprint or the app unlock button.

Set up was a bit convoluted but eventually worked. The Bluetooth connection limited to only a couple feet. Fingerprint sensor worked mostly but today refuses to unlock with fingerprint or app. I guarantee this is one of those days you will regret buying A
