KINGSUPER 200% Pressure Shower Head 30% Water Saving Ionic Shower Filter Chlorine Filtration Showerhead for Dry Skin & Hair

After using my Sprite HOC shower filter for over a decade, it's housing cracked wide open. It was a great filter that not only filtered out all noticeable chlorine, but the filter only needed to be replaced about once a year (reversing it after 6 months). FYI - The filter I had, most closely resembles the "Sprite HO-WH-M Universal Shower Filter" that is sold today on Amazon. After my recent experiences (below), I might be going back to that filter again.After the filter housing broke open, I thought I'd try purchasing a hand-held shower filter. Looking on Amazon, I bought the "KINGSUPER 200% Pressure Shower Head", which has the mineral balls which are supposed to filter the shower's water of chlorine and other chemicals.I've always been sensitive to chlorine (I smell chlorine and other chemicals long before others do), and after a few days I concluded that the KINGSUPER did absolutely nothing to filter out the chlorine. Not only that, but it adds it's own special scent to the water, from the minerals in the shower head which I also didn't like. It was a novelty to see the mineral balls floating about in the see-thru shower filter housing. Also, the very small water holes make for an interesting feel to shower under, but since the filter was ineffective I was disappointed.After about a week, I gave up on it and looked for another shower filter. I decided to try the Sprite "HF-CM Shower Hose Filter with HHC Filter Cartridge". I've been using it for over 2 months now. It definitely works better than the KINGSUPER, filtering out almost all noticeable chlorine.However, the problem is that for me the filter only lasts about 2-3 weeks at most, before the smell of chlorine from the municipal water supply comes back in bothersome amounts (to my sensitive nose). So, I've changed the filter twice already and am about to replace the filter yet again. The shower filter is used for a total of about 30-40 minutes per day. The filters are not very expensive, but I am definitely disappointed in the short useful life of the Sprite "HF-CM Shower Hose Filter with HHC Filter Cartridge", but at least I found it more effective than this KINGSUPER.

The head wouldn't even hold back the pressure and bursted off, spraying water everywhere and the beads flew out all over the tub. lol Maybe I had a defect, not sure how other people's worked, because these are made very cheaply. The water that was able to come out for a short period of time did feel good though.

I am counting my lucky starts today. I was adjusting the pressure on the wall valves making sure that it was on a low setting when I decided to allow the flow to pass through the shower head. This thing just blew up and all parts scattered and bounced against the wall. I was lucky I didn't have it pointed at my face. The force was pretty powerful. I do not recommend you purchase, but if you do, take precautions. I have to say that I was able to use it for a total of 3 times. I still don't know where all the beads went.

Since I'm not able to adjust the water pressure in my shower, the way the water comes shooting out of those tiny pin holes makes it feel like Tiny Pins Are Shooting Into My Skin, so I can't even feel the results of the filter. It doesn't hurt as much as It Causes A Horrible Itching Sensation all over my body! I have fibromyalgia which affects the nerves and I think that my nerve endings are Freaking Out due to the way the streams of water hit me [mostly my legs where the water hits me All the time]. It's not worth returning so I'll give it to someone who does not have health issues like mine & perhaps they'll get good results.

You feel like you had a massage in the shower. I have looked for that "perfect spray" from a shower head for yrs and finally found it. I do recommend turning down your water flow because due to the tiny holes and the extra pressure, you will use less water. I see several comments about the head flying off etc. Don't turn your water up full blast! The title even says uses 30% less water. I barely turn my water on and have a better spray than any shower head I've ever used.

Unfortunately this is not a good product. After one shower I had to take off the top and rinse out little fragments of rocks from the mineral that had piled up and caused my water to pelt at us. After every shower this needed to be cleaned and then finally the top popped off and all the white beads came flying all over the tub. One week later the top flew off again and it was completely stripped:(Lasted a total of three patient weeks and now resides in the trash.

I love this shower head. It has the best water pressure I have ever had. The water is soft but it is still easy to get the conditioner out of my curly hair. For those of you who have curly hair you know this takes forever. We have very hard water and I did feel a difference in my hair and skin. I will be ordering another one for a backup. It is really cool to look at too. :) I just wish they told us what the beads are.

It definitely works well for improving pressure. Granted I definitely didn't need to improve pressure and actually had my landlord turn ours down.I haven't noticed too much of a change in acne or anything like that. Hair seems moderately softer and dye doesn't seem to fade quite as fast. So, there's some improvement, but nothing exceptional.Worth it for the price.
