Organic Weighted Comforter with Advanced Air-Circulating Design - Washable, Organic, Weighted Comforter with Fine Glass Beads (Queen, 20 lbs)

My daughter (adult) asked for a weighted blanket for her birthday and I'd never heard of them. So I did some research and after looking at tons of them in stores and online, I decided to buy this one. Even though it's pricey, the quality is superb. So many others are made of synthetic fabric and just feel awful. Long story short, she loves the blanket and so do I. After trying hers I decided to buy one for myself and have never slept better, honest to god. No more waking up in the middle of the night, no more tossing and turning. It's like a magic blanket. My only concern is that I will never be able to sleep without it!

I’d like to say first that I loved this blanket. It’s amazing I’d you want to improve sleep in any way and it’s the most comfortable comforter I’ve ever had. Problem is I purchased less than 5 months ago and the zipper is broken and therefore won’t stay zipped. The bottom where you connect the two ripped and now unzips all the way up, again not staying zipped. I wish I could say I traveled around a lot with it or washed it incorrectly or anything like that, but I’ve been super gentle since I loved it so this is disappointing. I’m hoping I can get a replacement, but I’m having trouble finding out how to contact right person.

I loved my comforter until the zipper broke after only 7mo. Looking back at reviews this isn't an uncommon problem. We started out with a king which didn't quite fit our king bed - since we didn't like the zipper we decided to go with two twins. Well to our surprise the twin size also had a zipper. We decided to go ahead and keep them anyways because we really liked them. Well about seven months of having them the zipper broke on one. I contacted the company to see what my options were- I got a reply that there was nothing they could do that I would need to find someone local to fix it. They also said that they recommend to wash it with it zipped up because the zipper tends to break if not- not mentioned anywhere on the care instructions. (So this seems to be a problem of theirs). Which is funny because it states on the description that the zipper is for easy washing. However I have not washed mine- so that is clearly not why it broke. I have been really careful with my comforter and its been in a cover. I took it to three different places locally to try to get it fixed- no one is able to help me. I was told by each of them I should contact the company. I contacted the company again - telling them what I was told and asking if they could fix it even if there was a fee. I never heard back (its been about 3 weeks since I sent email). So now I am left with a $269 comforter that I can't use. I love the product- I just would purchase from a company who stands behind their product and takes care of their customers.

I ordered this product for my brother, as I have one myself and love it. Quality is high, and I sleep like a baby under it. Though the blanket is heavy, you do not get hot under it. The weight feels very soothing.

It’s very heavy, and very warm. I can’t use it most of the time because I awake from sleep in the middle of the night because I’m perspiring.It’s also hard to get on the bed due to the weight. I had hoped to use it in a motorhome, but I kept it for home use.

I use this product everyday. It really helps to relieve aniexty and makes me feel more comfortable when I am dealing with depression. It has a really nice weight to it, but not so heavy you can't breathe. This blanket does actually have great airflow, keeping it cooler during hotter nights, but still cozy during cooler nights. The one thing I really dislike it that there is a giant zipper in the middle of the blanket. It will separate it into two pieces if you ever need that though. Also, finding a cover for the blanket has been difficult since it doesnt have ties for a duvet cover. I think it was worth the money. Over all great quality.

I gave this as a gift and the person raves every time I see them. Easy care, washable cover, perfect weight and size and doesn't cause over heating during the night. Great sleep!

Great weight and great heaviness.

Ich kann zur "Hauptfunktion" des besseren Schlafes noch nicht viel sagen, da ich sie erst kurz habe (auf meinen bisherigen - schlechten - Schlaf hat sie sich nicht ausgewirkt). Was mich jedoch ärgert ist der große Hinweis auf die plastikfreihe Decke, und dann ist der Sack, in dem sie geliefert wird, und das Gewebe der Decke selber zum Großteil aus Mikrofaser (Polyester), während in der Beschreibung ganz dick auf Baumwoll und Tencel hingewiesen wird (die Aufnäher auf der Decke zeigen: Diese Materialen kommen vor, machen aber nur einen kleinen Anteil aus. Sogar auf der Decke selbst steht, dass sie aus dem gleichen Material wie Sportkleidung gemacht ist und super ökologisch und nachhaltig. Das ist wie Autofahren um die Umwelt zu schützen). Zum gleichen Preis bekomme ich eine aus Bio-Baumwolle eines anderen Herstellers -> Die Decke geht auf jeden Fall wieder zurück.Update: Die Decke ist an und für sich ganz angenehm. Trotz der Dicke schwitzt man nicht. Auf meinen Schlaf hatte sie die gleichen Auswirkungen wie homöopathische Globuli.. würde mich nicht wundern, wenn wir alle in 10 Jahren drüber lachen, über die Zeit, als wir dachten schwere Decken würden den Schlaf verbessern. Dabei war ich mir sicher das würde helfen (also der Placebo oder Procebo Effekt hat jedenfalls nicht gereicht. Insgesamt auch fraglich.. Sobald man mal liegt spürt man das Gewicht der Decke nicht mehr.. Null, fühlt sich an wie jede normale Decke auch). So wie wir heute den Kopf über Alternativmedizin und den Hype mit den probiotischen Joghurts schütteln, die vor 15 Jahren noch das Nonplusultra in Sachen Gesundheit galten.

Guter SchlafBin zufrieden

This is advertised as "Organic" and "Containing fully biodegradable materials"but alongside the glass beads inside, the wadding is 70% Polyester, and the core is 50% Polyester.How Polyester can be classed as Organic and Biodegradable I'm not sure...What I do know is that Polyester duvets do usually feel too warm in the summer.The exact material content should be mentioned in the product specification online.I will return it, and find a 100% cotton + Glass beads weighted blanket.
