I cook a lot of Indian food. I can put rice in the central compartment and have paratha, daal, curry, raita in other sections. There is even a small section to put chutney or pickle.The trays seem sturdy, are relatively flat, and they stack well so don't take a lot of space at the side of the cupboard when not in use. The trays are large enough to hold a meal for a very hungry person, so expect not to need to use all the space every time.

Lots of fun and weirdly good for portion control and making sure you’re eating enough veg!! The trays are shallow so although it looks a lot it’s no more than you would cram onto a plate. I find I’m trying to fill up the sections, so end up eating more veg!!

I'm a picky eater and I abhor having my food touching on the plate. Over the years, I've invested in five or six types of divided plates, most ceramic. I bought some utilitarian square ones, some fancy oval-shaped, and some round. Perhaps now would be the time to mention I'm clumsy, so one by one, those ceramic plates ended up in the trash after I dropped them or banged them on the granite counter.Aside from breaking the darn things, the other problem I had was the size of the portion areas. The 9" round plates I bought have rarely left the cabinet because they can only contain a cup or so of food in each section. It would be great for a kid, but not an adult.These trays solve all of those problems. Not only are they incredibly sturdy, but the food sections are very generous. I have yet to have a meal that employs all of the spots. The depressions seem shallow, but they're so wide, they hold a lot of food.

I’ve been wanting mess trays for a very long time since we like to camp, fish, and even for home use. My boyfriend bought me these for my birthday and I’m so happy with them. They are really easy to clean, they are very very very sturdy. I can load these trays down and have no worries at all. They have a nice weight to them so they won’t fly away due to wind. All and all the best gift ever!

My husband is diabetic and we changed our whole diet. These came in handy for portion control. They are a bit bigger than we expected by they are fantastic. Would order again and do recommend other's to give them a try if you too are on a special diet

Size of lap plates are perfect, very durable, I hand wash and dry them so they stay nice and shiny!
