this was exactly what i needed! ive never done a screen replacement before but i found a tutorial and got it done relatively easily! it came in a really nice looking box too : ) if my screen happens to shatter again (hopefully it wont- it came with a screen protector) ill definitely be buying from here again.

After the phone took an unscheduled flight across the front porch, shattering the screen we decided that instead of accepting this new modern looking shattered glass look we'd replace it. (Fewer face glass splinters).Our area has same day delivery (Yay!) And we made use of that option, ordering some tempered glass screen protectors as well(good call on our part, the provided screen protector is not up lives).The replacement of shattered glass requires you to tape the glass together, tape the suction cup to it and pop it up after removing screws. Connectors are clean and we'll made. One connectors was harder to connect due to a funky angle, but that's more of an apple thing.We had to pull the home button from the original phone, fairly easy but it should be noted, it's NOT included so be prepared to pull it. The camara and speaker however are included so there you go.Pros: Spec accurate, clear and crisp images, highly responsive and easy to install (YouTube is your friend).Cons: only one of two screwdrivers worked so you may need to buy it separately or already have one on hand. Home button is listed as included, but isn't.Conclusion: for our needs and already owning the proper screwdrivers and pry tools we found this set well worth the price paid

This falls into the "A man's gotta know his limitations." It's relatively easy to do right if you're willing to carefully follow the instructions plus watch a few youtube videos (hopefully you have another phone/computer/tablet nearby), and if you prepare your workspace well so you can see, and that when one of the tiny screws accidentally falls (or goes flying), that you have a chance of finding it.Remember to pick which screen replacement you get carefully, and that you almost definitely want to KEEP your old phone's home button if you can, because as a do-it-yourselfer, (and this is due to Apple security, not the replacement one) no replacement button will be able to unlock your phone by touch. The button will work fine for everything else. if you have a bad button and you use touch to unlock, only authorized apple repair can fix it.

At 30 I thought the 5s screen was overpriced. I bought one for a 1/3 less on amazon recently. That said the other screen was not as bright as this one. This one is still not as bright as the original, but but it would be hard to tell unless in bright sun. I have replaced a handful of iphone screens and all the other screens came with tools that are functional. I was lucky to have those tools on hand because the screw drivers are crap so I lost a screw, spudgers too thick to open top, and suction cup did nothing (even with the clear packing tape on the screen. I used the tools from a previous set. I do it with fingers, packing tape, suction cup, two MAGNETIC screwdrivers, and thin a metal spudger that they even show you in the video emailed to you on purchase. They included a bunch of tools that I have never used and they don't work for anything. SO could have been 5 stars sold with no tools for less money...screen=good, price=ok, ear piece on screen not as nice (but fine). Will update post when or if fails.UPDATE: I crushed my first screen in two weeks. I am not sure is more delicate or not. Perhaps. I got the next in 1.5 days and it was bright and clear. The camera is not as good this time and not focusing. I may harvest my camera off the old piece if I can't fix because photo quality is poor.

It’s hard to complain about an inexpensive screen, and it’s decent, but be aware that it is not of the same quality of display as the Apple-supplied screen for the iPhone 5s. It’s the same resolution and the colour is fine but I can clearly see a the ‘grid’ of pixels even from 10” away.

We purchased this one after another brand didn't work out. This one works wonderfully. Clear screen, no lines, no delay in screen response --- it is wonderful! :O)

It took some time to get the connectors together just right, but once they did, it worked perfectly. 5 days since having it installed and all is still running smoothly.UPDATE: Just before Christmas, it stopped working (screen got worsening stripes of black and then the next day was completely black). I opened it up to see if it was a connector issue, but it has had no effect. :-(

The ribbon/tape seemed too fragile to straighten so I left it. It pinched during install and now I can't hear the phone. If the ribbons are crooked, JUST RETURN IT.
