Q: Can you heat these packs safely in microwave?

Yes, you can heat the gel ice packs in the microwave, but they have to be submerged in water. All you need to do is fill a microwave-safe container with water and completely submerge the pack. Heat for no more than 10 seconds at a time until the desired temperature is reached and always heat from room temperature. You may also just heat up some water and submerge the pack in it again for no more than 10 seconds at a time until the desired temperature is reached.
